"Ok," Yoshi agrees, letting her lean against him as they walk. Trying not to worry about the apparent downturn in her mood, he makes quiet conversation, saying, "You would look pretty cool on a motorcycle.... I mean, you already have the perfect outfit for it." He tries to keep to the alleys and shadows as she directs him to the dealership, but he would also make sure that her visor is down if they have to traverse anywhere well-lit or populated.
"Are you sure you're all right?" he eventually asks, his concern breaking his silence on the topic.

Momiko straightened herself and took out her cell, making a text to Jio as they walked in front of some darkened storefronts.

"Everybody fails sometimes," Yoshi tells her, "even at the things that are most important to us. You've done so much good, one thief getting away can't compare to that." He looks around to make sure the street is deserted, then takes her free hand reassuringly.
"Besides her, though, what other reasons are you disappointed in yourself?" he asks, clear concern mixed with confusion in his voice. He's at a loss for what else might be bothering her.

"I feel like I'm not a good girlfriend; Dragging you out here and putting you in danger, not knowing anything about this relationship stuff that's so important to you, and pushing you faster than you are comfortable with because of that ignorance and how excitable I am."
She said frankly, putting her phone back away with her free hand.

“Oh, no,” Yoshi says, shaking his head. “You’re not a bad girlfriend at all! I wanted to see this part of your life, and I’m fine. Plus, as far as pushing me too fast… I mean, you weren’t trying to… entice me to do anything by opening your zipper; it was just nervous habit. We're both learning, together, so don't feel bad about not knowing things. If you’re worried about… letting me kiss your chest, up on the roof…? I… actually really liked it. Now that we’re committed to just dating each other… I think it’s ok to explore… sexual things, like that. I just don’t want to go… all the way, to full intercourse… before I know we’re ready.” He laughs a little nervously, shaking his head.
“If anything, I’ve been afraid that I was the one rushing you,” he admits. “I was kissing you before we even fully agreed to date, and then I was asking to be exclusive after our very first official one.” After two mentions of their exclusivity, his expression turns a bit more serious and pensive.
“I… do need to talk to you about something else, though,” he says, “but it can wait until we’re in the limo.” He looks to see if it was close to arriving, feeling exposed even on the dark deserted street. He hasn’t been using her name because of her secret, but even being seen together could be a risk.

"Well, you have your values and desires. If I felt they were unreasonable, I could always say something, neh?"
The two arrived at the sales lot Momiko had been talking about, a fenced off area with a small sales office and rows of different kinda of motorcycles. They only just arrive when the familiar limo pulls around a corner and drives up. For once, no one gets out to open the door for them.

“Absolutely you can,” Yoshi replies, nodding emphatically. “Communication, honesty, and trust are the most important things in relationship.” Once the car pulls up, the young Dragon wordlessly indicates to Momiko she should stay hidden among the cycles. He first checks for the coast to be clear before running over and opening the limo door himself, motioning for her to enter using her speed so she has a better chance of not being seen. After she does, he’ll quickly join her inside.

Momiko shuts the limo door behind them. In the driver's seat, seen through the one way glass, Jiro sits, not looking back as they pull away from the curb. Momiko takes off her helmet, shakes her hair loose, and slumps down in one of the seats, sighing softly.

"So... I need to tell you something, Momiko-chan," Yoshi says, after they'd spent some time just relaxing and enjoying the ride in silence. Sitting next to her on the same seat, close but not cuddling, he takes her hand. "I'm sorry if this is a little hard to follow, but you can ask me anything after I get through it." He takes a deep breath and lets it out.
"There was... another girl... whom I was having strong feelings for, at the same time as I was developing feelings for you," he tells her. "Back when you said you weren't ready for dating, I... asked her out. In between me asking and going out with her is when you told me you wanted to start dating after all. I still kept the date with the other girl, and at the end, I asked her on a second but also told her all about my feelings for you. It was my intent to date you both and... that way, figure out the strong feelings I was having for both of you." He squeezes her hand in a way he hopes she finds comforting.
"She politely declined and told me I should focus on you entirely," he continues. "It made me realize, when you're like me looking for just one special person to share your life, dating lots of people isn't for sorting out strong feelings; it's for finding out if you have them at all. Once you do, you have to make a choice to explore them with one person. So... when we had our first official date going to Mako-san's party together, that's why I asked you to be exclusive, so we could figure out our feelings for each other together, just us. I didn't tell you about the other girl then because... well, it was over, so it seemed as though there was nothing to tell." He gives her a look of sincere apology.
"After talking with my friends," he says, "I came to understand that not telling you was still dishonest in its own way, and I want to be completely honest and open with you, just like I've said all along. So... that's why I'm telling you all this now. I hope... I hope all of this makes sense, and I didn't mess up explaining it somehow." He holds her hand a little more tightly and waits for her reaction.

Momiko listened patiently, one hand under Yoshi's and the other resting on her helmet. She seemed to think a moment before nodding, "Mmm. Well, I am glad you told me. But I don't think of it as lying. I mean, like you said, we weren't sure what we were up until... gosh, only a day ago. And if you're okay with me not knowing what I'm doing and such, then I have no problem with you having your own struggles, neh? Like you said just a bit ago, we're kinda still figuring things out, no? What you're talking about seems like just another step in that to me. Maybe that is just another thing I don't know anything about, but that's the way it seems to me, anyways."
