Mirumoto Noboru has taken it upon himself to skip out on classes today, wanting to have something to go to one of his sensei or Kakita Uetani or Kakita Tsuki about when it comes to the blood feud that may or may not exist after all. As such, the Dragon has entered the computer lab. While not the most savvy when it comes to things like technology or the wide world net, he at least knew enough to earn passing grades on previous term papers. With the assistance of one of the aides, the Mirumoto boots up the computer and starts performing a series of internet searches.
"Let's see," he offers to no one while typing away. "How about 'Mirumoto Okoro blood feud'?"

The browser loads a plethora of results, but it seems most are tagged to the terms Mirumoto and blood feud. Many of them seem to report on current fights and events, or recent news articles. Of the slim few that have Okoro attached, they have links to other Okoro of the Mirumoto, or other clans and families.

Noboru spends a good bit of time skimming through the articles and links, a bit of a grumble offered at likely not finding what he wants. That's when a very sick feeling enters his stomach at a thought. One that makes him thankful no one is looking his way to see his anger and pain just from recalling the events. His eyes clench tightly as he pauses to collect himself, then bites at his upper lip with his lower left incisor as he types:
Mirumoto Hikari Kakita Ichiro blood feud

This time the search results are far more clear. A link to a news article from a the Crane news outlet SNN, Soaring News Network, reports on the incident, both the duel and the cause for it. The report is clearly from the Crane perspective, but when the article references the blood feud, a very heavy neutral tone is used.

"So much for getting an objective news report," Noboru muttered a bit as he reads the Crane perspective with an almost nauseated face, trying to figure out just what is being said about his sister, her opponent, and Kitsuki Shun and exactly what the article says about the blood feud.

The article delves into the headline itself, claiming a duel between Mirumoto Hikari and Kakita Ichiro had taken place in the Dragon lands. After Kakita Ichiro was allegedly linked to the notorious Forest Killer's and potential illegal gambling ring, in which he was said to be the leader, local magistrate Kitsuki Shun was to have the man arrested. However, a piece of critical evidence was lost, and Kakita Ichiro was set free. His honor stained, Kakita Ichiro called out Kitsuki Shun for the ordeal placed upon his name, and for an apparent blood feud.
The duel was allowed and to the death. Whether the dragon were banking on simply ending the Crane's life, or because of trying to follow traditions, Kitsuki Shun's yoriki, Mirumoto Hikari, was to stand in for the magistrate. The article from their notes the victor as Kakita Ichiro, the death of Mirumoto Hikari, and the likely soon to follow sepukku of Kitsuki Shun.

Right, so for now he's only finding what he already knows. No extra insights, no opinions on why the duel was permitted to be lethal instead of simply to first blood. Either way he prints out the article and starts a new search: Kakita Meta denounces blood feud orokos.com/roll/599101

The results come up easily enough, but nothing to do with the blood feud. Meta is only brought up a few times, and the blood feud takes center stage. Something stands out though. As you look over the search entries, you notice that despite the search terms, "Kakita Meta" and "disputes blood feud" never show up in any results together. Almost as if forcefully separated. Perhaps there is a way to search for a specific set of text?

Noboru pauses to think a moment, then types in the following search:

This time the search is heavily cut down. In fact, the search bar itself comes up with a small bit of text that reads as follows.
"The following links have been tagged as unsafe for the general public and purposely hidden from open viewing in the search. If you wish to display said links you may click here to reveal them."
