Ichiro walks to the table after paying for the drinks and plops down in the chair opposite the large badger and sets her drink in front of her. "It's not the best whiskey in town but its a fair price and has a good burn." he says and he leans back and takes a sip from the glass.

She drinks it slowly and nods her approval to him
"So how'd ya find this place then, lots of trial and error?"

"Eh I spent a lot of time in bars my second year. didn't really jive with the high class people at the other bars but this one suited me somehow. The people are honest if not a little rough, the drinks aren't bad for what you pay and they take care of the regulars who don't cause a fuss. sure you deal with the occasional bar brawl or asshole who wants to prove himself against the lion samurai but for the most part its a good time." he takes a nother sip as he talks pausing to enjoy the sensation. "so whats your story?"

"Hmmmm, not really much to it. I didn't really fancy my chances at home, so I pushed myself to end up here instead. It isn't really all that interesting"

"fair enough not everyone has a great saga of how they landed here, people like you and me just make it here through good ol' fashioned hard work." he says with a grin.
Ichiro pauses drinking in silence for a second "so whats the deal with you and the little princess?" he says with a quirked eyebrow "you two are pretty radically different, seems like an odd pair."

"I mean, I am not sure what our deal is. We are both fucking adorable, and why shouldn't the sexiest two women in school get together" she gives a shrug "Honestly, it was a pretty hard road getting to where we are, but we make each other happy. How about you, any boys or girls in your life?"

Ichiro nods, "I mean sure makes sense I suppose, though I'm not sure adorable is the way I'd describe you Priya-san." he says with a smirk.
"as for my own love life, I'm not sure. I have....something with Uetani-san not sure where that's going. I'm interested in a few people people but who knows if anything will come through." He says with a forlorn sound to his voice.

She gives her own forlorn sigh at the mention of Uetani's name. Mako's other girlfriend, responsible for breaking up Noboru and Hoshiko. Hoshiko who had now left the school, leaving her alone.
"You seem cool enough. Their loss" she shrugs

a chuckle escapes his lips "easy for you to say it seems like people can't resist you. Mako-san is obviously head over heels for you and I'd be willing to bet there is a thing going on between you and Ryoko-san. However I appreciate the compliment, you're pretty chill too." He lifts his half drunk glass towards Priya "to new friends and unexpected things" he says offering a toast.
