Akane wiggled her toes in her open-toe sandals, wearing a black spaghetti strap dress that came half way down her thighs.
"She was more worried it might cause a scene. Or make Aiko-sama angry I think. I agreed to try to be private with things, so it's clear I'm not showing favoritism or such."

"It's so tooooough for me though~" Akane half whines even as she pulls the car off the road. Toshi Ranbo doesn't really have mountains of course, but there is a hilly region on the north side. The overlook Akane pulls into is near the top of the tall hill known as Furui Hill, a small parking lot with a fence and some of those coin operated binocular things. The view is great, the overlook at the same altitude as the tops of the highest downtown skyscrapers. |
