"Ugh, why does this have to be so difficult?!" Ayumu whined, slouching back in her seat, arms dangling like noodles off the side as her black hair cascaded down past the back rest. She looked very much like a child, which in a way, she was. At least in spirit. Her gaze darted back to the screen of the monitor, the black line of a cursor casually blinking in and out of existance. It was mocking her in it's silent, repetitive motion. She couldn't prove it, but she knew. Why was it so hard to do a bit of searching around her? What, did people not like old folk tales and stuff anymore? Just the same thing, again and again. With a long sigh that could only be described as exaggerated, she pulled herself up from the seat and plopped down into it with a small huff.
"Well..." Ayumu looked to and fro, head on a swivel as her hair whipped back and forth. She couldn't see anyone, and considering how quiet it was, likely meant no one was even close to being around. "I guess I can cheat a little. Just hope it doesn't break anything like last time." With a clasp of her hands together, she stared at the screen as it suddenly began to wobble and waver as if in the waves of heat, like the ones you see on a hot summer day. Another second later and it was back to normal, but this time she had exactly what she was looking for. "Yes!"
Hopefully, there were no repercussions.

Rodrigo poked his head in the door, his expression curious. He'd come to the computer lab to look up some of the stuff on Rokugani religion he'd heard in Enigmas class, but he hadn't expected to hear someone shouting. He also hadn't expected the source of the shouting to be a girl sitting at a computer doing nothing that looked terribly interesting.
"Well! I see there's cause for celebration, apparently. Have any champagne?"

"Eep!" Ayumu nearly jumped out of her chair at the sudden voice behind her. Who sneak up on someone like that?! Like a cat that was petrified, the moto had to collect herself before she turned to see who had done it. It was the gaijin. He said something about celebrating and champagne.
"Wait, what? No, i don't have any... hold on! Don't you know it's dangerous to sneak up on a lady! You nearly gave me a heart attack." She clutched her chest, just to make sure her very clearly, and not at all exaggerated, important point was made.

Rodrigo chuckled at the girl's reaction and walked into the room, throwing his hands up in an exaggerated shrug.
"My apologies; you look cute when you're startled, though."
He then bowed in his odd gaijin manner.
"Rodrigo Azerola, at your service."

Ayumu looked away, hiding her sudden and quickly fading blush. Cute?! She turned back to him, heat gone and cheery expression back up. "Yep, I... er, I mean yeah, pleasure to meet you Azerola-san! I am Moto Ayumu. So, uh, what about me caught your attention? or are you here for the computers?"

"A pleasure to meet you as well, Moto-san."
Rodrigo walked over to one of the computers and slid into the chair, not unlike a cat.
"As for why I'm here, I was hoping to look up some of the religion in your country. The class I had before got me curious."
He looked over at her and grinned.
"What caught my attention was you celebrating, though. Found something interesting, I take it?"

"Oh, yeah, I was looking for old tales and what not around our empire history. I uh, was having a hard time, so when I finally found the link, it was hard not to get excited," Ayumu divulged as she swiveled about in her chair, almost like a child who had become bored with what was in front of her. Which, she wasn't but his comment on religion had her rather fascinated. Like, super fascinated.
"So you said something about religion right? Well I have to be an aspiring, home raised, all organic religinous person of sorts. Maybe I can answer your questions? If you uh, want me to anyway. I can totally understand if you rather punch in some keys and read alone, silently, in a big room, with just me here, also doing that same thing."

Rodrigo turned away from the computer and crossed his legs, lounging back in the chair and gesturing to Ayumu with a hand.
"And turn down a chance to talk? Of course not. Word of mouth seems the best way to learn anyway."

"Awesome!" Ayumu swung herself around in the seat. And then again. And again. And again. Spinning chairs sort of did that. But when she did finally come to a stop, and recovered her senses, she looked Rodrigo square in the face with a grin.
"So, what do you want to know?"

"Well, first off...what's this whole reincarnation business? Like, you come back to life? How's that work?"
