Eito frowns. "With enough money anything can be salvaged. If it's too badly done then, I can still pay for it to be repaired. It might just require a...favor from the boy. And his mother."

"Well, it's ultimately your choice. But between myself, Akane-chan, and Yoko-chan, we've accepted the possibility that it might be beyond our ability to make seaworthy again and content ourselves with giving the mother a memento," she answers, recalling that conversation. Though she does suddenly realize she sounds rather cold as she does. "Still, I imagine we'd all be happier if it could be made seaworthy again, but I personally don't want to ask too much of you."
"Still, if you think you can get something out of it, be my guest. I'm sure Akane-chan and Kunshu-san will be thankful, no matter what."

Eito chuckles. "I offered her. In her youth. She didn't take me up on it. Might have changed her mind after the war."
He then blinks. "Oh blessing or trouble?"

"For what it's worth, I wish you luck," she says with a smile. "May you get what you need, and not necessarily what you wish for."
