Hinata pursed her lips, and was about to argue when she realized she was drunk. Huh, when did that happen? Must have been the shochu. Instead she just nodded slowly and plopped down in the seat.

"No problem. You're pretty cute when you're drunk, you know? Rather than slip back into your accent you slur back into it rather."
He puts Hinata's plate n front of her, and takes his seat once more before a brief prayer, digging into the breakfast she made for him.

"At it's most basic level, that is all you need. The skill to follow a recipe and remember it. Cooking becomes more interesting when you learn to break from the rules a recipe gives you and express yourself beyond them."
Yoshinobu smiled as he chewed on a piece of the bacon happily. "Not that I can even do that. You'd probably be able to learn though, if you wanted."

He shrugs, and bites down on another piece of bacon. "It's up to you. So what did mom grill you about?"

"A private tutor? Well, I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to that."
Hinata took another bite of egg.
"As for your mother...eh, stuff you'd expect I guess, given the situation. What'd make me a good empress, who _I_ think would be a good empress..."
She sighed.
"I was gonna say me, but that'd be...I dunno, arrogant. Plus it's not even true, not with...y'know."
