Hinata looked at Yokohime and bowed slightly. She should have bowed deeper, but she was trying to hold the umbrella up.
"Greetings. This one is Kuni Hinata."
She then looked to the lake.
"The ship is at the bottom of the lake, I presume?"

Yoko gave the Kuni a nod as she couldn't come out of the water. "Hai... the earth Kami told me so. They marked and my trident is marking the spot. I took some rope and placed a piece of drift wood to mark it down from above the water." She gave another nod. "This one is Mo... I mean Bayushi Yokohime."

Hinata should note that Yokohime just said a non existent school on the present time.
"But the earth Kami were kind enough to hear my prayers. But I am not strong enough to bring the boat up."

"Yoritomo...?"
Hinata blinked in surprise. Who had taught a girl that young? There should not be any Yoritomo left. And she was a Scorpion? There was clearly a long story to this, one too long to ask about now. There was something more important to focus on.
"...anyway, you may not have an affinity for earth, but Koshiro-kun and I do. Maybe with your help we could try raising it?"

Koshiro dove into the lake after hearing how the location of the ship was marked, leaving his shirt, shoes and socks on the shore. If he'd remember, his phone was still in the toolbox he had left behind in the teachers' quarters, but his phone and other things were far from his mind at this point. He was determined to see the Salty Goblin for himself before anything else.

Akane nodded in answer to Yoko's question, half tuning out the shugenja talk while she watched Koshiro. As he dove into the water she went over and picked up his stuff, walking over to a nearby tree and hanging the stuff from a sheltered branch; It wouldn't dry fast, but at least it might dry a little. She would have kept an eye on the water to make sure the kid was all right, but Akane trusted Yoko to take care of that.

Yoko giggled at Koshiro's eagerness. She looked at Hinata and nodded. "Do you know any one else that could handle earth Kami? I asked Bukoru sensei."

Hinata thought hard, trying to think of any other shugenja she knew who were good with earth...then she remembered something from spellcraft class last week. Isawa Kokoro had said she was good with earth and fire. ...the girl had messed up things before, but if she claimed to be good at something Hinata would trust her.
"...Isawa Kokoro-san. She is a bit clumsy, but I recall her saying she is good with earth kami."
