[D10, C3, OPEN] Beach Episode, Part II

She would kiss Fuyuko if they were alone. But they're not, and the Unicorn has done enough damage to Fuyuko's otherwise impeccable reputation with that little teasing display. So instead, she adjusts her position to something significantly less tempting and watches as the young Kuni heads off. Then she notices that Uetani had also arrived and she gives the young Kakita a pleasant wave.

However, for now she chooses to get on her feet and observe. As long as Katsumi was there, she could not in good conscience leave.

Hisui blinks. That sounded like an honest compliment. Or at least worded enough like one that she couldn't picture it being taken as an insult. After all, it wasn't exactly a young lady anymore.

"Why, thank you, Otomo-san. But I imagine I'm actually the fortunate one here."

Sakura notes with some pleasant surprise the arrival of her friend, Uetani, and she moves to approach the Crane, but then she sees who she makes a beeline towards and how the Kakita embraces the Lion. And her opinion of Ichiro suddenly drops quite low indeed. Because he had someone like Uetani and yet his eye still wandered towards other women, which could make life unpleasant for Uetani if the young man acted on such feelings and wound up harming her heart or reputation as a result. She made a mental note to talk to her friend away from the Lion at some point, as confrontation in front of Ichiro would probably end up making the whole situation terribly awkward and unfortunate.
