Koko nodded. The Isawa placed a bit of the acid on the ring. She examined the ring with the magnifier trying to check out if the cut was well done.

The cut was not even remotly well done, and the glass of the ring begins to melt with the acid in a way the presumably precious metal should not. Eito nods at Bai meanwhile. "Indeed. For instance, I might be willing to pay extra for a toy even if the value went down because I know it will make someone happy. I am looking for objective value today not personal."
