"I don't feel alone here," he reassures her, still a bit worried about selfishly keeping her from seeing others. "Even those days I came to pray by myself, when you were busy, I felt your presence in this place... along with the Fortunes, of course." He looks around at them before turning his attention back to Tsuki.
"I like to think they've been watching our sleeping selves, heard our prayers, and have been guiding our waking selves along similar paths... in case the two don't converge tonight," he tells her. He doesn't press to know what she chose, or if she has a wish should the Fortune remain asleep. He's just sharing his own thoughts without any expectation or pressure for her to do the same.
