Izumi had slunk into the corner, as her sister had headed off to some friends she had made, perching awkwardly and waiting for the introductions to restart. She figured it wasn't worth drawing more attention to herself. Her attention was drawn to the panther but as a Lion she had met Matsu before so having animals wandering around wasn't too unusual, at least they were well trained.
Izumi listened attentively to the dorm mother, trying to get back points she lost for being late. She blushed slightly, rather surprised by the idea of the girls' dorms being so regularly full of boys it wasn't worth enforcing policy. Not wanting people to think she was a prude she tried to act as if this was completely normal.

"Ah. Related note. Pets are allowed in the dorms, with the agreement of your roommate. Otherwise, we have to keep them in the stables," Aiko points out, "I know most pets shouldn't be an issue, but be sure to check with your roommate."

Ryouko's gaze flickered to the warcat, her eyes twitching in annoyance. So they would allow the beast in their dorms... She gritted her teeth, thanking the Kami she hadn't gotten stuck sharing a room with the girl and her overgrown cat. A smirk slowly crept on her lips. Her father had told her she would be rooming with Tetsuko, her cousin. She wondered if the girl would mind a horse in their room. After all, according to the sensei that was all the permission they needed.

The Unicorn snorted. Of course. Discrimination! That's what that was! Favoritism!!
She kept her face as passive as she could, though. No need to antagonise a teacher on day one... Speaking of, she just realized she didn't introduce herself to the Utaku sensei at the stable before storming off... Great. Failing at the most basic of etiquette already. This year would be so much fun.

"I and about four other girls got the same love letter. Intended for a sixth girl, I might add. There was that cat spirit incident," Hisui answers. "There was that Kitsuki boy who tried to break into the dorm. I was accused of being the ghost haunting the dorms."
"Some students thought Utaku Zo Sia-sama was disguising herself as a ronin."
"And you girls are missing out on having Bayushi Makubesu as a sensei. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. He was…unorthodox, but he gave wonderful advice."
"And then there were all the rumors running around."
Then she takes a good look at Joo-Eun. "You were in one of my classes in Shiro Utaku Shojo, weren't you?"
