[ Pathetic attempt at resisting seduction: 2d10k2 11+3=14] Umeko tried to back away as the spider closed in the distance between them, instead bumping into her chair and falling back down on it. Her breath hitched in her throat, eyes widening as she stared at the Spider, obviously entranced. She could feel her heart beating madly, her eyes following his every calculated movements. The ronin swallowed as Eito placed the heart-shaped chocolate on the table before her. For a moment, she stood still, unsure how to reply, her face red. Her hand moved, as if to reach for him before pausing. After a deep breath, she spoke, her voice shaking slightly and just as low as his. "I am looking for someone willing to help me rebuild the Yoritomo." Her eyes flickered up to his, and she forced herself to hold his hypnotizing gaze. "Would you be willing to take that name, once the Emperor allows it?" |

Eito thinks a moment, a small nod. "Yoritomo Eito. It has a nice ring to it. So long as you understand that I will always be loyal to the spider first. But I will not betray my new family either." he says before he moves his hand, to place it right next to hers. "It does not have to be a marriage. If you find a better prospect take it. Just for now, in the moment. Do you want me?" he asks huskily. "I am a flexible man, if you wish to pursue someone else while with me, I wont be upset. I might even try them myself. You don't even need to make a commitment, not tonight, just express interest. That's all. Or are you not interested in me?"

She looked away quickly, wishing she had something she could cover her face with. The botanist suddenly understood why some women carried fans on them at all time. "Then, erm... Y-yes, I am..." She said quietly, glad her voice didn't squeak. She hadn't felt this out of control in years.

Eito grins a smile that is both charming and predatory at the same time. "Good. I would like to meet with you tomorrow. A personal meet up. So we can get to know each other. So we can get close." He says as he grabs another chocolate and takes a tiny bit of it, then slowly offers it to her to but from his hands. Both far less but far more intimate then a kiss. The seducing spider just wanting to see how much control he had in the situation.

Her eyes flickered to the chocolate, which she slowly reached for. "I should be free after class." She said quietly, looking a bit uncertain. She suddenly had the urge to run back to her own room, pick up her axe and go swinging at something... Maybe that could make her feel better. Umeko thought, as she brought the chocolate up to her lips, eyes closing for a moment as she enjoyed the taste, letting it roll on her tongue.
Nothing should be this good.

Eito nods. "After class then." People don't understand the seductive elements of candy. It is sinfull indulgant tempting and seducing. But it is also sweet and kind and thus fit Eito entirely. "I know I can be overwhelming. I won't move to kiss you unless you ask me to. And I swear I will answer any question you ask as fully and honestly as my loyalty to my clan allows. I want to win your affection and lust. Not hurt or mislead you."

"Oh you've got one already..." She muttered, annoyed at how easily she'd been played. Still, overall the meeting had gone better then she expected... She reached for the piece of heart-shaped chocolate, rolling it between her fingers for a moment before shooting the Spider a smirk and plopping the candy in her mouth. Umeko took her time to savor it, her brown gaze not flickering away from his.
"I will see you tomorrow after class, then, Eito-san?" She said, leaning forward slightly and resting her elbows on the desk, chin on her hands. "We haven't discussed any of my ideas for candy, after all."

Eito keeps her gaze with a small smile, his joy for the game evident. He watches as she savors the candy. "Of course, I would love to hear what sort of things you find sweet and delectable." he says in that low husky voice. "Tomorrow after class. Somewhere private where we can discuss without the prying eyes of others. I wish you a good night Umeko-san. And.." he says lowering his voice to a whisper before he blows her a kiss. "Sweet dreams. I certainly will have some."
With that the spider goes to make his exit, leaving the likely flustered hot and bothered Ronin to her thoughts.

Umeko bowed her head to the man in goodbye, wordlessly watching the door quietly close behind him.
She was left, alone, with only the taste of chocolate upon her lips.
