"I'm fine!" She says and dusts her sorts off. "I have to get tougher so I wouldn't say don't hold up yet, but I can take hits like this one easily."
She falls into the same stance again, but this time the girl chooses to wait for his attack. He had said that she is fast. It is time to see how much. She focuses on her opponent's facial expression trying to anticipate the direction his body is going to go to. It's all in the mind after all.

Ichiro sees her ready up and decides to go on the offensive this time. He dashes in and feints to the left before shooting his arm right and his body following attempting to get behind her and lock his arms around her mid section.

Asurito almost sees through his trick, but not quickly enough. The boy is clearly stronger and soon she ends up with both her hands locked behind her back. There is only one choice now. Right or left leg. She decides to put more strength on her counter attack since she has already lost this round, otherwise. The Imperial leans a bit towards the right and with her left leg she attempts to trip Ichiro down.

Ichiro locks in his hold his strong locking around Asurito's waist his body pressed tight against hers as he pulls her into the hold. As he locks it in his head close to her ear. "Now how do you get ou.." before he finishes his sentence he feels the Miya shift her weight unexpectedly and as Ichiro is forced to adjust he feels her leg swipe at him but just a second too late and he loses his balance falling sideways. He twists as he falls to take the impact since he was pulling Miya Asurito with him and hit the mat with the Miya on top of him. After a pause he releases "sorry Asurito-san for holding on, you really caught me off guard there. well done." He had slightly underestimated the girl but he wouldn't make that mistake again. |

"Much softer impact!" She exclaims and laughs before standing up and offering her hand to the Akodo to help him up. "Don't worry, Ichiro san. I should be the one apologising for falling ontop of you."
Asurito takes some time to re-adjust her ponytail. "I just love jiujitsu! It's so intense and fluid. Everything can change within seconds. On what else do you practice, Ichiro san? Any sports apart from the obvious weight lifting?"

Ichiro took her hand and hopped up a broad smile on his face, this turning into more fun than he thought it would be. He let out a peal of laughter as he got up. "yeah its pretty great I've only really gotten into it in the past year but seem to have a pretty good knack for it." He paused as he mulled over her second question "well I'm really into this and kendo plus soccer. I plan on going out for all of those teams this year. But other than that I do enjoy biking, not competitively or anything but I like to ride my bike around. Also basketball and rugby are pretty fun to mess around with.

"Another cyclist?! Why haven't we two met before?" It's a rhetorical question, of course. "I just love cycling. I have participated in a few bmx freestyle exhibitions and I got a good ranking in a couple of them," she shrugs, "but it's not like anyone else on campus keeps an eye on such things."
"I guess that we will be seeing each other a lot this year. I'll certainly join the judo club and now I'm even more convinced to ditch the students for peace club and go for the soccer one."

"You totally should!" Ichiro exclaims "not that peace club isn't cool or anything but it'd be so cool if you were on the soccer team too. If you're as fast on the field as you are on the mat then you'll be awesome on the team."
Plus it would be awesome to see the Miya as often as possible. She was beyond cute, fun, and into a lot of the same things as Ichiro.
"So what are planning on studying while you're here?" Maybe he could het an idea of what classes the girl will be taking as well.

"No speed in the field, unfortunately, but this is going to change!" She looks at her thighs. "No matter how much time I will have to spend lifting weights, these two are getting stronger. It's my promise to myself!"
Then the classes are mentioned. "Well, I am a herald so I cannot avoid the curriculum that comes along that, especially since I really need better grades this year. I can already see myself in the etiquette class imaging others learning the coolest stuff in the stadium and the athletic field while I only dream of being out there." The girl grins. "But I will definitely try to sneak some other classes into my schedule, as well."

ugh classes in etiquette and courtier studies and history and such what a drag Ichiro would cry from boredom stuck in such classes. "thats unfortunate you have so many obligations." He too gave the Miya's thighs a look though his gave appeared more....appreciative than is strictly polite. "If you ever want help sneaking out of something or into something you could count on me, I think we'd have fun being....mischievous." he noticed now that as they talked Ichiro had drifted closer to Miya Asurito and now was within a hand space of her certainly much closer than most would find polite. |
