Momiko was immediately less comfortable; The Kuni she did not recognize at all, and before she could even say anything there seemed to be tension between her and Yoruga-sama. And she was so pretty...
Were they some sort of rivals? Perhaps this was some of that 'politics' mother had told her to watch out for, and stay out of. ...staying out of it seemed like a good idea.
For now she bowed in Hinata's direction, holding it deeply as the two finished their... introductions.

So that's how it was going to be, hm? Very well, two could play at that game. "Greetings to you as well, Bayushi-san. Your concern is unwarranted, however. The Wall will be fine without me. We have plenty to defend it now that we don't have to help the Scorpion learn to defend theirs, yes?" "I will have to remind you that it was us that informed you that we did not need your help anymore. Something that you people had a hard time getting through your thick skulls." He frowned. "Well, since you are here, and despite not introducing yourself, I am Bayushi Yoruga. My friend is Asahina Momiko-sama." He stated flatly.

Hinata shrugged.
"That was your prerogative. Personally I'm glad your people broke the alliance off. Always nice to see a dependent grow and move from their guardian, yes?"
Hinata smiled and bowed.
"I am Kuni Hinata. A pleasure to meet you both."

"A-A pleasure, Kuni-sama," Momiko said as she restraightened herself, "Are you going to be a student here this year as well then?"

"I am Kuni Hinata. A pleasure to meet you both." "I guess that makes you reasonable. Pleasure for me too. Let me guess earth affinity and you dig plants too." She might not be that dreadful after all and sensei said I need to socialise more."A-A pleasure, Kuni-sama," Momiko said as she restraightened herself, "Are you going to be a student here this year as well then?" Since she is not lost, there is no other logical explanation.

Hinata puzzled. Was that another insult? If it was, Hinata could not discern the meaning behind it.
Very well then, if it was, it was subtle enough that things could be civil now. That was good, she despised having to take part in the game of Sadane.
"No, I've never actually done any gardening. I have been in greenhouses before, though, we have many of them in Kuni lands."
Hinata looked at the greenhouses again.
"I wanted to compare how the facilities here were compared to those."
She then looked back at Momiko.
"And yes, Asahina-san, I am a student."

"Ah. I look forward to seeing you around campus then, Kuni-sama. We... are all priests then? That is... an interesting coincidence, neh?"
Not that Momiko was sure of the latter part; Maybe shugenja were much more common amongst the students here than she thought.

Yoruga shrugged.
"Eeehh well, apart from the apparent different in size, the greenhouse here are oriented mainly in providing for the cafeteria, the classes of Umeko-sensei, student projects and of course ikebana." By his tone it was clear that he disapproved of the last one.
"Furthermore they lack any kind of hydroponics equipment." He added
He sipped from his coke.
Yes, now we lack a water guy. He smirked.

"No hydroponics? It's all soil based, then?"
Hinata tapped her chin, thinking. Surely RHS could afford a hydroponics system, right?
"What could the reason for that be? I can see the purpose of soil-based growing for agricultural classes, but none at all?"

"Well... maybe it's not supposed to be comprehensive?" Momiko suggests, looking at the nearby vending machine curiously.
