Tsuki glanced over to where her roommate had once been standing, her form no longer even within sight. It had been rude of the young girl to suddenly interject into their conversation, but she had hoped that at least their responses would have helped smooth over any possible turbulence that might cause for the future. Still, it didn't seem like the reason for the Mirumoto.
"I don't think you did. Perhaps it was myself. She seemed a tad tense around me when we first met." She said with a touch of concern.

"How could anyone be tense around--?" Yoshi begins as he turns back toward Tsuki, thinking of the how comforting it felt to be in her company. Seeing her again, he smiles and looks downward, cheeks flushed, too embarrassed to complete such an overt compliment while actually facing her, even though the meaning remained abundantly clear.
After a moment though, he remembers the current political strife between their Clans, and that Sakura was the daughter of the Thunder whom Mirumoto Noboru at the lake last night claimed began it. His first instinct is to change the subject as he did then, however he can't really think of any subjects right now, besides showering Tsuki with further praise. Instead, he alights upon an idea to at least, in some small way, reciprocate her generosity.
"I could... try to talk to her for you?" Yoshi suggests. Considering how difficult conversation came to the young man, this was no small offer on his part.

Tsuki let out a small giggle as Yoshi caught himself, her crystalline voice quietly reverberating within the temple hall. She shifted slightly, hands finding there place back in her lap as she finally shook her head at the man. "Please, you don't have to do that for me. It is such a kind offer, but I rather it be approached directly to me if she has concerns or a thought to voice." Tsuki said as she took a final glance over to where the Mirumoto woman had once stood.
She couldn't fathom asking Yoshi to take up such a task for her. It would be far to unfair to the young man and she didn't wish to burden him with a possible issue even she wasn't fully understanding of. "Besides, though our time is often small, I would rather keep it focused on us as opposed to elsewhere. I would be remiss if I was to place my attention not on the person before me."

Yoshi's pulse flutters in time with Tsuki's tiny laughter. He looks down at the gift she'd given him, turning it over in a pair of hands that had begun to perspire a bit as she continued to talk about giving him her attention. There is an important thought in his head, but it takes a few moments of searching the myriad of emotions he's experiencing from her words before it finally finds its way to his lips.
"I want to do... something for you," he tells her. Giving a short, self-conscious laugh that was both a contrast and complement to hers, he adds, "Besides just buy us incense to share, I mean." He still would, though, and it would still be the best; of that, he remained steadfastly certain.

Her features softened to his words, to the sincerity in them and the conviction. Though she could not say why their paths crossed, the young woman felt her own emotions rise in her chest. It was nice. "That's sweet of you. You don't have to do that for me though. Just the fact you wanted to is enough."
Tsuki meant all of it, though she felt almost no way to convey it beyond saying what she normally had. Not that she couldn't help but find herself caught up in his words. It wasn't a sense of joy, nor affection, it was something else. She couldn't put her finger on it and that made it hard to understand this experience between them, though she wanted to learn.

"The things I do... usually aren't enough, let alone just wanting to do them...," Yoshi says, more to himself than Tsuki. Yet he still smiles, because this time, it was enough... for her.
Yoshi was feeling as though he could just stay here in her company indefinitely, even without saying another word. However, the young Dragon finds himself slowly becoming conscious of all the eyes upon them, even if they were just those of the omnipresent stone effigies. Their prayers for the day were completed some time ago, and whatever was happening between them now was starting to feel like a trespass upon the holy ground where they both remained kneeling. Whether that was truly the case or just a symptom of Yoshi's lack of confidence, he decides it best not to overstay Tsuki's or the Fortunes' welcome.
"I... appreciate your attention, Kakita-san," he says, referring to her earlier words, "more than you know, but... I shouldn't take up any more of it." He rises, bowing to her.

She listened to his words, but her eyes saw so much more about Yoshi. Had he always been like or was it a product of something more? That was earnestly hard to say for her, but he smiled and she couldn't help but find herself smiling back at the man. It was one of the few things she could offer up.
If it weren't for his words and his standing up, Tsuki might have spent more time simply sitting with the Tamori, making passable small talk that never truly went anywhere but always brought a sense of delight to her. yet his actions reminded her of where she sat and whom might dwell within. The fortunes might favor the mortal man but something told her that they likely would prefer the temples erected in their honor not be used for talks and gifts. Perhaps that thought was wrong, or perhaps her own self conscious built that idea from nothing, but it was enough to make her stand with Yoshi and return his bow.
"I appreciate yours in turn, Tamori-san," She replied back, "I have enjoyed every moment of it."

Yoshi cocks his head to the side quizzically. He was certain there wasn't a single insincere atom in Tsuki's perfect form, yet he found it nearly impossible to believe that she was receiving from him even a fraction of the enjoyment he was feeling. Or was she? To consider that she might made him positively dizzy. He just smiles wider, having thanked her so many times already that he fears saying it aloud yet again might somehow rob the words of their authenticity.
"I'll... see you tomorrow, then, Kakita-san," he says before moving toward the door. It wasn't a very graceful departure, since he kept looking back at Tsuki rather than where he was going, trying not to drop his new incense container along the way at the same time. Eventually though, he reaches it, and he pauses before going through, remembering her doing the same thing yesterday.
"Kakita-san?" he calls out to her quietly.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Tamori-san." Tsuki smiled softly as Yoshi took his leave. She watched him for a little bit, enough to see him constantly turning back but she soon turned to take care of her own things. She carefully plucked up her incense holder and other little affections she had brought with her to the shrine. This had been a rather lovely visit to the temples these last two days and it seemed the day after would be just as wonderful. He was shy and quiet, this she could see, but he wore honesty so openly and of that she so fondly admired. Was it possible for herself to be like that, or was it perhaps her own flaws that attracted her to the man. It was a shame he had to leave so soon.
Or so she thought. She heard him call out and her gaze lifted up to across the room where he stood, as she had the day before. A flush came to her face, unexpecting both his staying and by the way he did it.
"Yes, Tamori-san?" she answered quietly back.

"It's Yoshi... you can call me Yoshi," he tells her with a smile.
His eyes linger on her for a few moments, and then as quietly as Tsuki had entered, Yoshi took his leave of the temple. He slipped past the door and soon after came the faint click as it slid fully shut.
