Eito gives a small Ah. "So they are allies of yours then. I thought so. Only met the boy but he is a savy businessman and quite wise. I hope to train him to do what I can do if he can get around his vanity. It's a poor trait for one in the public eye. But of course it makes you desirable. A wise man values excellence in all it's forms. I am surprised more haven't seen it but people can be dull, if they don't see what they are told is attractive they can't see something's true value. Lucky for you I am a master of appraisal."

"Suprising allies, yes... I was not aware before they seeked me out, but it seems their father was an old aquaintance. He had been adopted in the Yoritomo some many years ago and trained under my father for some time." She smiled absently. "It was quite the shock, but I agree with your accessment of the boy."
The waiters made their way back, taking away their empty plates and replacing them with their chosen main dish, along with a bottle of alchool. Umeko gladdly accepted a glass, sipping on the drink contently. "Have you enjoyed your first day teaching?" She asked the man in front of her as the servants retreated silently.

Eito seems pleased at the main dish and delicatly enjoys his food though it is clear he is watching Umeko to see how she enjoys the food as well. "I have! Class was splendid. First they turned on each other, then on me, then on the lesson and finally I think most of them understood what I was trying to teach them about economics. It is a strange field of study but one must be as merciless as a Bushi and as careful as a courtier." he says with a small nod.
"And your own classes? Did they fare well? I doubt you would be able to lose your student's interest if you tried."

A flicker of annoyance flashed in her eyes as she shook her head with an exhasperated chuckle. "I had unexpected.... students." Umeko rolled her eyes. "Both Genji-san and Asahina-sensei decided to attend... they nearly gave me a heart attack. But otherwise I think it went well, there are a few I feel will do really well this year."

Eito blinks. "I see. I do not know if my lack of attendance was an oversight on my part or theirs. I am quite fond of Genji-san. Pity he does not enjoy men. I have almost not interacted with Asahina-san at all. What do you make of him?"

Umeko hesitated, blushing slightly at the sudden image of Eito and Genji... She shook herself, hidding her face behind her glass. "I am... Unsure." She frowned, staring down at the sake. "He somehow knows that I am working on something, without knowing what my plans are. Yet he has offered his help to me, without knowledge of what he might be helping do."
She sighed, running a hand through her short hair. "I feel either he knows more then he pretends, and that scares me, or he is way too eager and I'm not sure I trust that. Perhaps it would be best if you tried sppeaking with him... I believe if he is genuine in his offer to help then his help could be very valuable."

Eito nods. "I could have a word with him. With any luck he is into men hmm?" he says, looking for that blush again. "I will see what I can find on him. He might be a worthy ally. He might be eager due to you. You have that effect on us, your passion makes us very eager."

Oddly there was no blush this time around. Umeko shook her head slightly. "Maybe... Like you, he was rather open with the fact that he... erm.. wanted me." The thought seemed to puzzle her. "But honestly I am uncertain it is reason enough to be willing to offer such help, and if his only reason for wanting to help is to get me to sleep with him then I'm not sure I really want his help." She said rather bluntly.

She nodded, though it was clear she didn't fully approve of his thought on the matter of paying for someone help with his (or her) body. "Will you be teaching tomorrow?" She asked instead, changing the subject as she attacked her main dish. Umeko sighed contently at the taste, pausing for a moment to savor it, delecting in the memories that came with it.
