"Of course, Chiyo-san. That is the best way for friends to keep in touch, ne?" Yoshinobu asked her. he sets his phone down on the table after unlocking it, so she can put in her number.
"Feel free to take mine as well, or I can put it in for you. I'm looking forward to seeing you, and perhaps meeting some of your friends tomorrow night."

Chiyo takes the phone gingerly, dialing her number, then reaching to reject the call on her cell so that the number could be instantly sent and saved. She slides the phone back to him without the contact name filled in. Whatever he wants to end up listing her as is his business. She'll come up with some kind of name for him later. It's not like he's going to go through great lengths to find out whether or not she puts in something like 'Crown Prince' or 'Yellow Yoshi'.
She's leaning towards Yellow Yoshi. With Yoshikatsu as Red Yoshi and Tamori-san as Green Yoshi, she just need a Crab or a Crane to complete the set.
"I've got it," she says, picking up her phone from the table and sliding it into her purse.
The other thing, the friend thing. That was going to be a fun one to explain--the whole lack-thereof. If Tarik shows up, Mako doesn't totally blow her off, and Tamori-san ends up going, she can present an illusion of having many friends.
"It'll be pretty chaotic, but I'm sure you'll get to meet a couple of them there."

"Please feel free to call me should you need anything Chiyo-san. Perhaps the chaos of tomorrow will only add to the fun, ne?" Yoshinobu replies, oblivious to any hijinks or drama filled scenes will transpire on route to the shin dig. He stands with his mostly empty tray of food.
"I'd like to introduce you to at least one I have as well. Well, tomorrow then. Carry the Fortunes until then Chiyo-san." He gave her a small bow of parting, and then made his /exit.

“Same to you,” she responds, cutting their otherwise casual conversation with a half-formal farewell.
The verdict? She wasn’t entirely sure, even now, how much of that was genuine or part of some game. When you’re raised to believe that your superiors are always going to use you, and having used a few inferior subjects herself in the past, you have trouble believing that someone above you can be so...average. So normal. Weak, even. And what really annoyed her about this dynamic was that due to his position, no matter how much belly this pup presents, he is still the top dog around here by title alone.
If she could find a roundabout way to use him, would it be worth the risk? Or should she stick to her own level?
She already toyed with Imperials. That was risky enough on its own. No...the Prince would just be a liability. Hopefully one that finds himself too busy with others to remember she exists.
