Hinata sunk. Yeah, the Daidoji had a point, she had overreacted. Yeah maybe he had not put it in the most eloquent of ways, but she was a Crab, she could respect being forward. She looked at Nadeshiko.
"Sorry" she muttered.

Nadeshiko fidgeted for a moment under the table before to face both Yoshi and Kobushi. "I'm sorry etc etc... this whole... people my age and also like me thing is new to me." she mutters, turning her gaze to the side before she slips out of her chair. "I'll be right back"
It takes her a few moments but when she returns it's with a new tray with 4 bowls. She hands one out to each of the boys and finally offers the last bowl of the anmitsu to Hinata.
"My mother says that the best way to fix an argument is with something sweet... so uh here."

Kobushi breathes a sigh of relief as he sits back down.
"It's alright. Things got heated and people said stupid things, myself included." He bows to Yoshi as apology. "Sorry about the disruption, Tamori-san. We'll try not to let this happen again."

Hinata smiled and took the bowl.
"Thank you, Unicorn-san. I was just trying to give you advice."
She clucked her tongue and shook her head.
"No, I'm sorry, that's no excuse. I was being rude as well. What's your name? This one is Kuni Hinata."

"I am Horiuchi Nadeshiko Kuni-san... wait, Doji-Sensei spoke like you too. The whole "This one is blah" and "This one likes Anmitsu" Is it like.. well actually I have no idea what it could be. Could you enlighten me?"
As she speaks she rummages through her bag, tugging out a notebook and a pen. "Please be as detailed as you can, This is very interesting"

"Thank you for the anmitsu," Yoshi says to Nadeshiko, bowing to her. "I'm Tamori Yoshi." But her attention was fixed on Hinata already. He shrugs in acceptance of this fact and then nods to Kobushi in acceptance of the Daidoji's apology as well.

She turns to face Yoshi, a slight grin on her face as she takes a big bite of her own dessert "Isn't Yoshi the name of the dinosaur in Super Mirumoto Brothers?"
Then it's Daidoji's turn as she leans in over the table to whisper "Wait the prince is here? Isn't he super important and stuff?"

Hinata nodded.
"Yes, he is sitting over there with a Scorpion girl. There will probably be rumors about that tomorrow. Or perhaps not, it is the weekend, it is harder for rumors to spread around when the halls are not full."
Hinata took a bite of the anmitsu.
"Kind of like a disease. Which makes a lot of sense when you think about it."
She turned to Nadeshiko.
"But you were asking about high Rokugani. Sorry, I went off on a tangent for a moment there."

The Crab-trained Crane makes as subtle a gesture as he can manage to where the Crown Prince is dining with the Bayushi girl. It's not that subtle, but probably not that easy to identify as pointing either.
"Kuni-san here confirmed it; it's him. And Tamori-san knows the Scorpion girl he's sitting with. I'm guessing there's something else I'm missing, but they didn't want to fill me in and I didn't pry."
