Noboru notices that, by this point, most of the class has paired off. He shrugs a bit then turns back to the Tamori. "I suppose so, Tamori-san." He notices the other Dragon's reaction to Sakura's rejection and just stares at the Thunder's daughter for a moment before finally rolling his eyes. Under his breath, as they headed over to a mannequin, Noboru offers, "If you like her, don't dance around it. If you aren't sure, sitting on the fence can only ever get you splinters." "I don't... like her like that," Yoshi whispers back, trying to hard not to look back at Sakura. "I just... wouldn't mind having a friend my own age from my own clan. I don't think she likes me very much, though." When they got to the CPR practice dummy, Yoshi sat in the assisting position, but he didn't do all that well, failing to keep a good rythm at all.

Hinata watched Momiko work, fascinated. "Asahina-san, have you done this before?" "Hai, it's something I practice somewhat regularly. Though I've only had to use it twice, fortunately," she said with a nod. "Go ahead; Give it another go. You seem to have the basics down already, I think."

Hinata nodded.
"Yes, it is a good skill to have, but...not one you ever want to use."
Hinata smiled slightly, and then tried again, this time doing it correctly.

"Mother's always said it's one of the things everyone should know for how to save a life, along with making a split or tourniquet and dressing a wound."

Hinata chuckled.
"My mother might agree, though...she was always more interested in experimentation than medical care. ...a lot of Kuni are like that, actually. Too many doctors, not enough nurses, you know?"
Hinata gave a sigh of resignation.
"I guess that is why I wanted to be different. ...sorry, I should not talk about my issues in class."

"Hai... apologies if I brought up such things for you. My mother is actually into... those sorts of things as well. But she used to be the school nurse here, so I suppose she had to teach these things regularly."

"She's the daughter of a Thunder," Noboru grunted as he looked over to Sakura. "Worse, she's the daughter of the Thunder who started a blood feud between our clan and the Crane. And if the rumors are true, she took the name of a Scoprion, so who knows what's going through her head right now." Unfortunately, Noboru was a bit distracted and had some trouble performing the task at hand. He frowned, then motioned for Yoshi to switch places with him. "Maybe you'll have better luck than I did, Tamori-san." With that, he took the assisting position and tried to aid the Tamori as best as he could, actually doing quite well at it.

Knowing he would never do as well as Momiko had, but hoping he'd at least make a passable attempt, Yoshi takes the lead with Noboru's competent but not extraordinary assitance. After a few repetitions, surprising himself as much as anyone, Yoshi has actually gotten the hang of it. He smiles, but then puts on a more reserved look when turning to the teacher for approval. He wants her to know that he takes saving lives seriously.

Perhaps we could talk about our parental issues some other time, but right now we have class to pay attention to, neh?" She smiled gently.

Momiko actually giggled, "Oh... okay. You have a point there. It does look like most others are wrapping up."
She looked over at Yoshi, smiling, "And getting better too."
