As the students for the hunting class entered the classroom they would find a large note on the video board:
((OOC: So I'm going to give each of you some time to roleplay meeting up, heading to the library, etc. and then you'll be searching for clues. I'll try to make the clues as obscure as I can so they'll lead to multiple locations. Again, you can split into teams or work as one larger team. After a bit of discussion about the clues, or if you get stumped, I'll give each group a Hunting roll or Investigation roll - either with Intelligence or Perception depending on if you're looking for the next clue, if you see Genji, or to try to figure out what the clue means. The Investigation TN WILL be higher since this isn't an investigation class. From there we'll work to the next set of scenes, etc. until you either succeed or fail. Still working out exact terms of failure, but if you fail... your sensei clearly isn't teaching you well enough!)
Your first lesson is a lesson on team building and teamwork. Contrary to popular belief, hunting is as much about trailblazing, survival and tracking a fugitive from the law as it is about tracking animals for food or sport.
I will be your quarry for today. Clues will be left about the school for places I have been, but I'll be constantly on the move. You can split into smaller teams or work as one larger team, your choice. You have until the end of the class period to find me. If one group finds me, you will all receive a passing grade. If I'm not found by the end of class, you will all receive a failing grade for today's work and we'll discuss the larger purpose behind this exercise in our next lesson.
For safety and security reasons, you will not find me in any of the following locations:
* the dorms
* the teachers' quarters
* the stables or animal pens
* the hot springs
* the administrative offices and teachers' lounge
Any other location is fair game. You may use computers, tablets and phones to locate me and keep in touch with each other.
Your quarry was first seen in the library doing research.
Gambatte!
