At this point Ryoko looks absolutely confused, unable to understand either girl since they're speaking in a vulpine language and, well...
"C-can you tell us what she's saying, Isawa-sans?"
Ryoko looked away a little, sighing sadly. "I... I've spent all my life in Ningen-do with my human parent and my mother, so I don't understand others from Chikkushodo or Sakkaku."

"Ah... I see... Well Doji sama is really sorry She is flattered that sensei likes her manga and that it helps other girls. But it's very personal, and She really doesn't want her Mother to find out that she wrote it! So not just her, but all of us here, need to keep this secret." She nodded. "She doesn't want to disappoint her mother. She just want to be a good fox wife." Koko shook her head. "Your mom is too traditional Doji sama..."

Aiko nods a little, sighing inwardly. She pauses, looking at the Asako, as if noticing something for the first time.
"OK. Not to be rude, but have you always had those ears and tail, Asako-san?"
She shakes her head, centering herself and focusing on the fact that the Doji-fox is apparently very on edge right now, "Wait. Nevermind, not important right now. I swear, I will not tell anyone, Doji-san. But...when you are...um...more yourself, I'd be willing to have a talk, in private about some of this. Or not. It is your choice."
Fortunes. You'd think that they would include information like which students have unusual heritage or the like in the information that they give the dorm mother each year. Because that would have been very helpful information to have before all of this went...odd.

Ryoko's answer to Aiko is fairly cryptic, making the girl sound more like a Togashi, "What is your original face before you were born, sensei?"
She tucks her head down then starts rubbing at where her ears were only moments ago while still trying to keep everyone from the little twin-tailed fox in the room. "Iie, sensei. Th-they just kind of came out. I was so stressed and so worried for Doji-san, I.. I guess I couldn't keep this form going."

Koko shook her head. "Your mom is too traditional Doji sama..." She tilts her head sideways (shrugging is just impossible, you see). <Okaa-sama can't help it. Like I said, she's a nine-tail. That's one of the good things about being a fox, at least in Reiha's book. |

"Hai... well Mirumoto sensei, Doji sama apologizes for her current form. She didn't want to offend you. She will resume her human form tomorrow evening." She nodded. She seems good at this. Well she has been translating Kiki her whole life.
She looked down at Reiha. "I can teach you how to open unlocked doors." She wrapped her tails around the fox. Kiki placed the fox plush on her head to cheer Reiha up.

"Offend me? No. No. It's not..." Aiko pauses, sighing, running a hand through her hair briefly, "Look, it's more I'm a little annoyed with the fact that I'm now apparently finding out that I have a bunch of spirits and half-spirits and what have you around here, as I should have been told about it, as that way I could have made better accommodations for students with needs like yours, such as arranging for doors that don't require hands on rooms of students who sometimes lack thumbs. I'm not sure how to handle a lot of this, as they did not discuss this when they offered me the job of dorm mother. For the meantime, I'm sure Isawa-san and Asako-san can help you with the doors."
A pause, then another sigh, "And if anyone should be apologizing it's me. I didn't mean to put you in such an uncomfortable situation, Doji-san. Fortunes know I've been putting my foot in my mouth enough of late."
She turns to the Asako, "As for you, it's alright. Things happen when you worry about friends"

Ryoko lightly petted Reiha even as a frown crossed her lips, a combination of worry for the little fox based on what Koko was telling them and Aiko's comments about her nature.
"G-gomen, sensei. Outside of the administration, because okaa-san is a big donor to the school as an alumnus, you're the only ones that know. It's just..." A sigh as she looks over to Aiko, "It's hard enough being this age, you know? And people would treat me different if they knew. Not that I'd be able to lie to them about it, anyway..." Another sigh and a blush, "I once thought a joke was someone telling a lie and ruined the punch line."
Her eyes shifted downward as she studied Reiha, Ryoko wishing she could understand a word of what was being said, but then the topic of 'doors' comes up and the Phoenix ponders. "You... can stay with me tonight if you wish, Doji-san. And then Isawa-sempais can take care of you tomorrow since they seem to know more about foxes than I do."

Reiha tucks her Hoshi no Tama, the round gem containing her soul, against her chest, between her front legs. She looks up in sympathy and gives Ryoko a friendly yip as she admits her inability to lie. Something they obviously share!
Well, she couldn't bear the thought of sleeping in her own room anyway as Asurito's smell is everywhere and the Imperial is probably disgusted with her. <I am sorry for being a burden! So many girls here in school have no problems with their preferences, but my family is very traditional...>

"Anoooo... sensei... you knew we were coming right? I mean we learned a trick or two back at home but I don't really know how they would work here."
She gave out a short yip <no problem>
"I don't mind helping a fellow friend. Besides I was planing on studying most of the day after morning prayers." She said to both Reiha and Ryoko
Then looked back at Aiko "I think we might need some sort of permit to allow Doji sama enter some of the school premises in this form like the Library. Kiki read no animals allowed."
She turned to the now fox Doji. "Do you want people to know it is you or do you prefer to be undisclosed?"
