Fuyu takes a breath. "No. But for some it happens. I keep the stories of mine. I have books of their poems so I can remember them. Do you enjoy the thought of killing?" she asks seriously but not harshly

"Yes" her voice is soft as she admits it "Though it will not satisfy me... Nothing ever does"

Fuyu takes a deep breath. "The hunger will never end no. And you will be tempted. I need to teach you something. A technique I was taught which will allow you to keep your honor despite your...preferences."

"Oh?" she asks, genuinely curious "A ritual?"

Fuyu nods. "A ritual but also a move. My Sensei called it the perfect love strike. It was a way of finding the void, and in the moment you are dueling, you, your weapon and your opponent become one. And you strike with no hatred, anger or dishonor. Only perfect love. You give the gift of death. Or you accept it. As compassion and courtesy. And you take your desires and your control them with Bushido, without needed to change what cannot be changed."

"It does not sound as though it will stop the hunger... but it sounds like it might control it" she admits "To allow me to do my duty, without falling prey to the sin of desire"
She bows, deeply
"If you will teach me, your perfect love strike, I am willing to learn sensei"

Fuyu nods slightly. "As this one said. The hunger, never stops. Even to this day." A slight hint of danger to her voice. And for a moment Uetani may see the kindred spirit before her.

"Then I gladly look to you, Sensei. I commit myself to your teachings"
For the first time in a long time, she sees hope before her. If she can be like this woman...

Fuyuko nods to the student. "Do you write poetry Uetani-san?" she asks gently, glad that she could maybe help this girl have a life better then her own. "And are there other...mental conditions you have. I presented with others as well."

"I do write poetry. It is a passion of mine" she nods her head "I... I sometimes hear the voice of my departed sister, pushing me to desire, even through her death"
