"Worse really, each bite has... new and exciting ways to be awful. Look at this! It's uneven. And they forgot to season the bottom but they over-seasoned the top. Kami. I imagine our equivalent to this is seeing drunken children with swords fighting."

"Have you ever given a drunken child a sword? At least they will kill SOMEONE and that is what a sword is for. This, this is like being given the iron to make a sword, and making half a butter knife instead"

"Maybe that's all I am, a ghost, an illusion, here to put you on the right path" she takes a bite out of her food, she has eaten quickly, and eaten a lot

"Ain't ever seen a ghost kill a burger so fast. So are you a helpful spirit? Maybe we both are and we accidently wasted all this time trying to inspire each other. That sounds like a funny story."

"I met a Dragon yesterday that could probably tell it twelve different ways" she laughs "But no. I am not a spirit, not yet. Just a girl, who saw a boy, who needed reminding what made him special"

She laughs, and prepares to tell her sad little story. If this was filmed, it would obviously go to a Tim Burton animated flashback
"I was a young girl, timid, if you would believe. My sister was the light of us. Whilst I could be fierce after a fashion, it was she that was joyful, charming. They said that she was blessed by Benten, and I would believe it
"Well, she pushed me on through our youth, and we did the things that children did together. We grew, we played, we teased, and she pushed me away from fear, and I tried to keep her away from desire.
"We went to different dojo, both in Tsuma of course, both trained in the schools of our family. She was a sculptor. The potential to be one of the greats. They called me a prodigy, but her... Well, she could have been a master
"When her gempukku neared, she became almost crazed, devoured by the passion to create a masterpiece. Something that would show her skill, her mastery of marble. And she began to carve. It was slow, as she considered every piece of her work, every second of it. Soon she would not accept visitors, then they claimed she could be heard working into the night. Finally, I suppose, she stopped eating. When the sounds stopped, eventually they came to her room. They found her there, chisel in hand, wasted away to nothing. I saw the sculpture once. It was a pair of twins, one smiling, holding a sword and quill, the other thoughtful, holding a chisel and hammer. It was not finished of course. Maybe if she could have held out for one more hour... Her life was given to this piece, that was never completed"
She stops to take a drink
