Beyond the stalls were others, possibly filled with war cats, horses, or whatever else the student body had brought this year. Even Gorilla's weren't off the table it seemed. "I must admit, it is curious to know he had horses on his estate, but forbade you from ever doing anything with them," Tsuki mused aloud.

Sakura keeps quiet. In the Dragon lands, owning a car was rather rarer than in the rest of Rokugan, as most immediate families had at most one car for the entire family unit. Which needless to say made the thought of a teenager owning one something of a luxury that few, if any, of her friends growing up experienced.

"I uh, am not sure how clumsy you have to be before your father veto's possibly getting you a car," Tsuki noted aloud as she stepped around Uuen-Xiang and into the stables itself. Though, it was a bit of a kindred spirit moment, since her own parents hadn't just handed her a car either. Maybe Sakura was quiet because she was the odd one out?

Uuen-Xiang shrugs. "Well, he seems to think it similar to the horse situation. But I'm nearly grown-up, after all... I should be able to do this, right?" she asks, jumping a little as some form of animal sound appears from deeper inside.

"If you have completed your gempuku, you are legally an adult, Akodo-san," Sakura replies, "But I do not know your father and I cannot even begin to speculate what would motivate him, let alone try to divine what sort of reasoning would lead him to take such steps. But...I would recommend asking him why, Akodo-san, instead of assuming that you are certain you know better."

Uuen-Xiang shakes her head. "Nope. And I don't plan to. A Lion knows her purpose. A Lion owns her words and actions. My father owns his, I own mine. And mine currently ask that I go look at horses."

Tsuki stood inside the stable and glanced over to the horses. Well, if she didn't want to know why, it was her call. So the young woman simply smiled and motioned for Uuen-Xiang to lead the way. "Well, now you just have to do it."
