"Well if you want to meet people snd mingle you shouldn't. If you want we can join the same ones. For instance I will be taking science, due to my girlfriend, but also something about plants or medicine. Im undecided, it will depend on which other people will be participating."

"There us still supervision. The students are given more free hand on club activities. Additionally funds are asssigned and managed by the club."
He smirked.
"Think of it as class with extra stuff and more flexible curriculum. The idea is to help us socialize while enjoying our hobbies."

"Ah... but this is still outside of class times? And is there some sort of attendance policy after you sign up? What if club times conflict? Do you get any sort of grades or competitions or such for all clubs, or is that mostly just the sports clubs?"
She tapped a foot as she curiously asked question after question.

"Their activities take place after class. No one will notice if someone doesn't show up. In case of conflicting schedules, it's the prerogative of the student to choose which one to participate it. There are no grades but it's an easy way to improve one's skills, which helps with grades and thus exams. The sports clubs do competitions, but it's not a must for all clubs. I think the science will do a hackathlon, or more accurately I hope so. It will be awesome."
He smiled as she bombarded him with questions.

Momiko nodded and let out a sigh, looking up into the rain where it beaded up on her glasses, "I guess I just ask because I have stuff I do outside of school, you know? Stuff I keep busy with. Part of me was worried that if I join a club that I'd miss out on my... work."
Not really a lie.
"It's just not something I can schedule... but then again, I suppose it's not like the school day itself isn't already something scheduled that I'm going to have to learn to live with; So what's one more thing added to that?"

Still he would enjoy more time on the Storm King, since that would mean more Mochihime. He shrugged.
"What keeps you busy? Maybe you could find a group that covers it."

Momiko gives a nervous little laugh at that, "What does? Like I-I said... work stuff. Probably don't want to mix work and school, honestly, even if I could. But if you... mean hobbies, I guess there might be some things I could make time for."

"I am sure that work can be described in a more definite way. You already know what I do in the greenhouse. You have seen the warnings and you know enough about plans to link the dots. Don't think you need to be coy with me, since you can actually get me in real trouble if you tell that to the administration."

Momiko rubs her arm and looks away from Yoruga,water still dripping from her glasses from when she looked up. With the way she faces away though, it makes it look almost like the water is coming from her eyes, as if she's crying.
"You kn... well, maybe you don't know. But I wouldn't do that to you, Yoruga-sama. I'm not that sort of person. Besides... not sure you'd understand."
That last part is quiet.
