He lets out a low chuckle "Well you are certainly worth it." He straightened himself as well though he had gotten a smidge of lip stick on his shirt but Ichiro just shrugged it off. "So my bad good girl, perhaps I should take you on a proper date. Treasure is to be valued, admired and shown off."

Ichiro grabbed her hand as they began to leave the gardens "that would be perfect, we could celebrate my appointment as the kendo or judo captain as well since I'll be trying for both. We could either celebrate or cheer each other up."

"We would certainly make a formidable couple that much is certain. I may need to call on you to defend my honor. While I am very skilled at kendo I'm afraid the art of Iaido has remained illusive to me. Requires too much patience and timing. I'm much more about overwhelming force."

A smirk formed on his lips "Well I do aim to please." He got quiet for a moment thinking. "So there is this party tonight that I'm dragging my roommate to, any chance you'd like to come along?"

Ichiro had a hard time hiding the disappointment he felt but he smiled regardless "regrettable I think we'd make quite the pair walking in together but I understand, i likely wouldn't be going if not to support my friend."
