Reiha nods encouragingly as Asurito looks to her for support. So many people, but she is managing just fine!
And then the Yasuki girl asks for a phonenumber. Huh? Without really thinking about it she takes a few steps closer. As she squats down to take a good hard at her girlfriend's legs even more. When she asks for a touch she is besides her girlfriend, even going as far reaching out and touching her on the arm. Ever so lightly and short, but still, staking her claim.
"This is going to be so much fun, Asurito-chan!" Her smile is a bit fragile and nervous. There's a lot of people, after all, and she is being awfully familiar with the Miya, and in public too! "Oh, and I would love to learn those bmx tricks!"

Yasuki recognized that behaviour, she was treading on relationship territory with these two. It was okay, she had no romantic interest in Asurito but sometimes it was a bit fun to tease to see how far a pair had gone. So she reached forward, lightly flexing practiced fingers as she grasped the cyclists thighs tightly and gave them a gentle squeeze. The pressure her fingers exerted was a bit stronger though as she worked them into the muscle, just checking to see how it had developed.
Eventually she stands and tosses a smile at the pair of girls in front of her "Well, I think if you vary your exercise routine a bit we can definitely work some more tone in your thigh and calf muscles. Should help with biking and a few other tasks."
She turns to face Reiha then, her smile ever present on her face. "You two look lovely together, I hope things work out in the long term." then she goes to the sign up sheet, adding her name to the club roster.

Priya moves over to stand by the Miya
"And you were worried there would be a low turnout!" she smiles and claps her back lightly
"You did a good job boss"

Being in the courtyard anyway and seeing a trio of familiar faces, Kobushi walks over. A cycling club wasn't exactly a high priority for him, but it wasn't something he resented either. He decides to put his name down and ask his family about having his old bike sent.
He does not interrupt the ongoing conversation. However, he does wave a little in case anyone noticed.

This... this is shameless behavior! There is a mixture of outrage (and insecurity) as she stares at the Yasuki. It however quickly makes place for embarrassment as they are casually outed in front of everyone. Face flushing, a tongue-tied Reiha looks helplessly to Asurito. She herself can't lie, after all, and when she considers the idea of everybody knowing about her preferences, letting alone having a girlfriend, there is this great ball of conflicting emotions. I really need to tell mom! However horrible that is, her hearing from someone else is even worse... |

Asurito is quite oblivious to anything Reiha might be thinking at this point. Once the Yasuki is done with the inspection, she nods to the girl. "I will certainly take your advice at heart, Yasuki san. And everyone here are just the loveliest. I am pretty sure that things will work out for this club both in short and in long term." Then she notices Kobushi and waves to him. "Come on! Join us, Daidoji san."
"And thank you, Ichiro san!" The girl is so happy! She places one hand on Reiha's shoulder and the other on Priya's, the two people who are next to her and beams. "Thank you all for being here and I promise limitless fun for everyone!" She looks at Reiha for a moment. "And a lot of tricks for this little Doji and anyone else who wishes to learn! We have to choose a captain, as well, but perhaps we should wait in case more people wish to join us."

"Nah" she says quietly, and then, loudly to the room
"Hey! I nominate Miya Asurito, who got us all here as Captain! Anyone wanna debate it?"

"Hi," he greets as he approaches the Herald. "Figured it couldn't hurt to sign up. I'll be ready to go as soon as my family sends my bike here."
He has a bemused little smile at seeing the Lion. "We run into each other again, Akodo-san."
At the Badger's declaration, he just nods in approval.

Reiha blinks. I don't think that's what she meant! But then she put her hand on her shoulder and there is a whole of conflicting messaging going on.
But of one thing she is certain!
"Yes! Asurito-sempai is our captain!"

Uuen-Xiang nods, standing over by the paper, having very slowly filled out her name with some shaky-looking, rather alien characters.
"Well, I see no reason why Asurito-sempai should not be leading this group," she concurs. "She is the most inspiring cyclist, after all."
