Ryouko had left Tarik's loft early. She hadn't originally planned on staying there anyway last night, but after the (also unplanned...) party, it had felt easier to crash there then go back to the dorm. She stiffened a yawn as she made her way toward the stable, shivering slightly in the breeze.
The Unicorn was greeted by a soft neigh as she walked in and headed for Daisuke's stall, smiling warmly at her companion. "Hey there." She said as she reached over, lovingly scratching his large head. The horse was more then happy with the attentions, nuzzling against her touch and huffing. Ryouko reached for a treat, giving it to the horse as she looked around. Except for a few stable hands tending the various animals, the place seemed empty. "Do you think Seijuro-san forgot about us, Suke?" She said softly with a smile, to which the horse only shook his head. The Utaku chuckled, opening the door of the stall so he could walk out. She led him to the center of the building, and began the task of strapping his saddle on.

It was just as she was leading Daisuke outside of his stall that Seijuro had finally found his way to the stable. Though he had slept a decent amount, last night came with a peculiar bout of restlessness - a lot of tossing and turning in the night, devoid of any deep sleep. After he had run into Aiko in the dojo yesterday, his mind had been greatly troubles. The thought of her meeting with him again today only made the Akodo more expectant of what may come.
As he came upon Ryouko and her horse, bag slung over his shoulder, the slightly tanned Lion offered the girl a bow of greeting. "Good morning, Ryouko-san. Good morning Daisuke," he said with a small smile, thinking back to the horses antics days ago. "Someone looks excited to get out and get some exercise."

The Unicorn glanced over her shoulder, smiling at the young man. "Good morning, Seijuro-san." She bowed in response to his own bow, patting Daisuke's side as the horse reached over to tap the Lion's head with his nose gently. Ryouko chuckled at the Akodo's words, nodding.
"He's always excited." She noted as she finished strapping the saddle, checking to make sure it was secure enough. She hadn't put any bridle on Daisuke, only a rope that was fixed to his halter. Ryouko's eyes glanced back toward Seijuro. She paused for a second, frowning. She knew that look... That was the same look that stared back at her every morning when she looked in the mirror. The Utaku hadn't had a restful night in almost a year herself. "Are you alright?"

Seijuro laughed a little and petted Daisuke's mane, giving the large steed a few affectionate scritches. After Ryouko looks to him with her concerned question, Seijuro gives the Utaku a reassuring nod.
"Yes, I'm fine. I didn't get much sleep last night, and today is bound to be a busy day," the young man said, moving towards his own friend's stall. Seijuro makes sure his daisho is secured tightly to his hip as he opens the door. "Nothing that a nice morning ride wouldn't fix, though. Way better than a cup of coffee."

"I very much agree." Ryouko said, walking over to the other stall reaching to pat the smaller pony fondly. "Have you been staying on the horse track mostly, or going around the campus?"

Bunsho offers Ryouko a happy neigh and a shake of his black mane.
"Neither. I prefer to take to the wilderness outside the city. It helps to remind me of home."

"Really?" She turned to him with interest. "I didn't realize there was much of it left around here. Would you show me? I'm not very familiar with the area myself."

"I'd be happy to, when you two are ready. I know a pretty good spot."
Seijuro leads Bunsho out and applies his saddle as well, before hopping up on his companion's back. "I'd normally ask if you wanted to race - but seeing as you don't know the destination... and that Daisuke is much faster, it wouldn't be fairer," he says with a small smile.

Ryouko laughed as she effortlessly jumped on the larger steed's back, nodding. "Perhaps an other day, once we are more familiar with the trails?" She offered the young man, before gesturing for him to lead the way.
"Have you thought on which clubs you will be participating in? You've been here for a few years already so I assume you already are a member of a few?"

"Sounds like a plan."
Seijuro nudged Bunsho forwards into a trot, looking over to Ryouko with a nod. "Hai. I was in Kendo, Iaido, and Horsemanship last year. Now I have to cut two of those - one will be Iaido, for sure. I think Horsemanship for the last, sadly. I mean, it's not like I don't get out on Bunsho enough anyways. I always make time to ride him."
"Student council takes precedence - duty to my fellow clansmates. That, and I think my Father would be displeased if I averted Kendo."
