Bai kept back, not wishing to disturb his friend's moment. Not his place, and not something he'd want to happen anyways. He was a little disappointed the Isawa left. She was nice, and seemed like she was in need of friends.
He kept quiet again at the Otomo's query for opposition. At the adviser's comments though, he desired to speak up. "Well, I do not believe I would make a very good captain. Indeed, I am mostly here to learn, and make friends. I still have much to learn about the many sciences, but I would be more than happy to learn what I still need to learn."

Bai looks over the questions a bit, taking his time. No need to rush. There is rarely a need to rush really. When he finished, he looks over his answers again. Only the last two he had no clue at all, but that just meant he had things to look into later. The first one he recognized as a chemical reaction, he wasn't sure he knew the process for certain but it wasn't that hard to figure out. The math one was simpler, or should have been, he was kind of disappointed in himself for that one, but the work looked right. He thought he had it right. The third one...he was 50/50 on, but at least he thought he had an answer. 1] 4 Fe + 3 CO 22] 196/41 + 367i/82 3] Sugar-phosphate backbone 4] google it.
