"Why would we?" He responded to the Imperial's question. "If someone is causing this, it's probably me."
He frowned at the Asako.
"Is it insanity that the woodcutter expects the tree to fall when he chops it off? That would make a bad Lion, ne? Well, Asako-san, contrary to you obviously, I am not fixated on enlightment. Is that something hard to stomach?"
"I suppose you are, Isawa-san. In any case it seems that I shouldn't have joined you." He had finished his meal and got up.
"I hope that you all forgive me for whatever I did wrong." He bowed and excused himself.
