He shook his own head but for different reasons. "You are doing fine koko-chan." He says placing a big hand on her shoulder and looking her in the eyes "it's awesome that you want to look after your sister but you can't forget to live your own life in the process." He gives her shoulder a squeeze and moves his hand up to her ear and gives her a few scratches.

He resumes scritching her ears as she slowly relaxed into him. He moves his arm so it looped around the back of her head up to her ears for continued scritching but it was close to an embrace.
"So you just want to wait here for her?" He says hos voice slightly softer than normal. A tad more calming.
