Again, still not flirting at all. To her, this is just making conversation as she eyes the windows of the shops, looking at various decorations.
I'm sure you remember clearly. You're just choosing to ignore it.
"Oh, those look lovely." Pillow cases in various colors. She gestures as if she wants to go inside. "Do you mind?"

Otomo Katsumi shrugs her shoulders. "You are the one putting up with me. Far be it from me to deny you your desires." She smiles at the Utaku. "If you still do not mind my company that is?"

"I don't mind. The company seems pleasant enough."
She heads inside, looking at all manner of pillow cases. There's really no effort to hide she's eyeing the ones that are Crane blue, Unicorn purple, and black. What might be surprising is a slight preferences for rose patterns and fine silks. Then again, Hisui is Unicorn. She can likely afford these things.
"I must seem so domestic to you, shopping for things like these."

This feels so mundane... Almost mind numbing in a way. Otomo Katsumi gives her a smile. "Oh a touch. It is all rather fascinating in a way." Otomo Katsumi lightly runs her fingers across a pillow. "To be honest I never thought I would ever do any shopping of my own. I always figured the servants would handle it." She turns to Utaku Hisui. "You are a Unicorn I assume your family does alright for itself?"

"Well, to be honest, I don't really do this a lot. But sometimes it's the mundane things that keep me occupied."
She takes a moment, testing out some of the bedding. She returns one because it doesn't feel quite right. If she's going to sleep on something, damn it it will be comfortable. When she spends, she doesn't spend on anything but the good stuff. At one curious point, she asks how easy it would be to wash stains off it. Specifically, stains from biological material.
"And we do alright. I just make a point of keeping most of it in reserve," she says as she picks out a lovely set of sheets. "But I do enjoy buying expensive gifts for the people I care about."

Otomo Katsumi nods her head. "Then while we are out. Why not buy something lovely for your Doji Fuyuko?" She taps her finger to her chin. "While I can't confess to understanding your relationship with the girl... I don't mean that as an offense. You two do some quite lovely together. Rather I'm not quite sure what a gift for her would be." She closes her eyes in thought.

"Already done, Otomo-san. And no offense taken," she says as she buys some things. "In fact, that was the first thing I came here to buy. I suppose I could buy something a little more aligned to her tastes, but that's no fun. Sometimes it's the gift that had meaning that works best."
"What about you, Otomo-san? Have you seen fit to give anyone a gift recently?"

She taps her fingers to her lips. "Hmmm... I suppose there is..." She looks away was it possible she might have been blushing lightly. "Yes there is someone I suppose I could get something nice for."

"Oh? They must be very lucky," she says, taking no notice at all of the blush. Unless it's a student. "What makes them so special, I wonder?"

She rubs her chin in thought. "They challenge me. I rather enjoy the challenge. I met them thinking one thing and then they surprised me. It's rather fascinating." She chuckles and shakes her head. "I honestly suspect they have no idea what they are doing. I think that's the fun of it all."
