She smiles and turns to look at Ichiro Priya. "Though I won't lie Priya-Chan I did come all the way out here to see you." Oh I suppose I couldn't quite resist temptation in the end. Such a naughty girl I am. I'll have to have you punish me later. Otomo Katsumi chuckles and then turns her attention back to Kuni Hinata. "I didn't know we were having a tiff all this time I had been trying to be a friend to you. It seems you misunderstood my intentions and for that I am truly sorry."

Did she really think Hinata was that stupid? Kami, how did this Otomo survive this long, underestimating her opponents in such a way? Hinata smiled sweetly and leaned forward.
"Well, a misunderstanding on both our parts, then. Surely you can see how your actions could have scared someone and been misconstrued as stalking? Especially after Iweko Yoshinobu himself asked you to stop in the cafe."

Priya sighs and grits her teeth. Perhaps not the best start she had wanted after all. She tries to wrap her head around. What is Katsumi's problem with Hinata, when she took to Priya so quickly?

Otomo Katsumi side eyes Priya for just a moment. "Stalking you?" Her attention turns back to the Kuni Girl. "You work at a public restaurant I'd far from say I was stalking you." She shrugs her shoulders. "But I do apologize that my actions came off that way. I hope you can forgive me."

She raises an eyebrow and folds her hands together. "It would seem our desire to put this behind is not going well." She holds out her hand. "I had really hoped we can bury the hatchet."

"Now now, no need to be hasty, there is just one matter I wish to ask about" she responded, her tone still friendly.
"Daidoji Kobushi. He said you manipulated him into a fight. Is this true? If so, why? He is nothing but a kind, gentle boy."

Otomo Katsumi raises an eyebrow. "All I did was mention that he had been holding back against that Akodo boy. That it devolved into a fight is hardly me forcing him into a fight." She shrugs her shoulders. "If anything it is far more his fault for holding back in a fight. A disrespectful thing for a Samurai to do."

Hinata held back the bile rising in her throat. Instead she frowned, perhaps the one genuine expression she had worn this whole conversation.
"Ah. I see. I shall need to talk with him about that, then."
It was not a lie. She was going to talk to him about it. Granted, probably not how Katsumi hoped.
