Hinata sat down at one of the larger picnic tables, waiting for the others to arrive. She had expected the courtyard to still be a little wet from the rain, so she had covered the table seats with some mats. She set her lunch out before her, a modest bento box filled with rice, some fish, and a bit of candy in the form of Jelly Gems. She waited for the others to arrive before starting, she did not want to be rude. Besides, it gave her a bit of time to sit back and admire the way the sun shone down on the courtyard after the rain. It was fascinating to watch the way the water kami danced as they slowly changed to steam, with Lord Sun as the conductor. It was moments like these, where she could watch the little kami move and change, that she loved being a shugenja. So it was that she sat at the table, a serene smile easing her stern, albeit beautiful features. (( Koshiro, Daidoji Kobushi, Tamori Yoshi, Horiuchi Nadeshiko, Yasuki Tsubasa, Asahina Momiko )) |

"Hi, Hinata-san," Yoshi greets her, carrying his usual simple and healthy lunch on a tray before him. He puts it down before he bows, because it's too early for such tragic slapstick as losing his lunch all over the ground.
"Thank you for the text about relocating lunch out here," he adds, sitting down near her. He lowers his voice and asks, "This isn't another mission, is it?" He doubted it, but after the surprising events at the Temples yesterday, he couldn't be sure without confirming.

Momiko arrives, promptly, as promised. As she looked around she saw that, so far at least, it was only the two familiar faces from the group text message there so far.
Carrying a bento in her hands she went over and bowed to them, "Konnichiwa Hinata-san, Yoshi-san. Yet again we just miss the rain."
She sits down BETWEEN the two for whatever reason.

Hinata let out a half chuckle at Yoshi's question and shook her head.
"Hello, you two. No, this is just lunch between friends. No missions involved."

Nadeshiko arrived a few minutes after Momiko, carrying her own tray from the cafeteria with curry, tea, and a large pile of anpan for the whole group.
"Hinata-san, it's nice to see you again. You as well Tamori-san." She pauses then, glancing at the new girl and the way she had inserted herself between Yoshi and Hinata... definitely some chemistry going on there.
She takes a seat then, and offers a slight nod towards Momiko "I do not believe we've met. I am Horiuchi Nadeshiko. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Momiko tilts her head a little before bowing deeply, "Greetings; I'm Asahina Momiko. Truly a pleasure."
She sits back up straight, "...I did not imagine that I would ever meet a Horiuchi; I-If I'm not too bold in saying so. Will the wonders of RHS never cease?"

"It is good to see you as well, Nadeshiko-san."
Hinata smiled at Momiko's comment. It was a point that had been crossing Hinata's mind a lot as well.
"I have wondered that myself, Momiko-san. I have met more famous and unusual people here in five days than I have in the rest of my life. It is fascinating, to say the least."
She then looked at the snack tray Nadeshiko had brought and took an anpan. She then looked at Yoshi and Momiko, noting how Momiko had sat between them. She should have been offended, but instead Hinata felt a sense of satisfaction. So her two friends had feelings for each-other after-all.
"I must say, you two look cute together. If I did not know better I would say you two are a couple."
She took a bite of the anpan and looked at Nadeshiko.
"My, but this anpan is delicious. Thank you, Nadeshiko-san."

"Noblesse Oblige Hinata-San~" Nade murmurs, smiling at her friend before glancing over to Yoshi and Momiko.
"I wonder if they've held hands yet~ they certainly look like they have. Look at how close together they're sitting. It is quite cute."

Ta-da! It's everyones favourite Idol~ Tsubasa-san arriving at the lunch party with a tray full of cafeteria ramen and a bottle of Calpis Soda. Not much was different except for the fact that her pink hair was now brown and pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of her face.
She takes her own seat and waves across the table a bit.
"Hello again Kuni-san.. oh and Tamori-San! It's nice to see both of you again. Thank you for inviting me to lunch, I appreciate it."
Introduction times then. She properly introduces herself to Nadeshiko who returns the favour before turning to Momiko.
"Hello~ I'm Yasuki Tsubasa. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Yoshi is pleasantly surprised by the arrival of Momiko, smiling as she walks up and greeting her with a seated bow. What he is wholly unprepared for is how quickly his friends Hinata and Nadeshiko begin commenting on his and Momiko's compatibility as a match. No sooner had he nodded in understanding to Hinata that there was no ulterior mission behind the lunch, she was saying how they looked cute, like a couple, and Nadeshiko was agreeing and speculating upon hand-holding.
"W-what... do you mean... you know better?" Yoshi stammers, looking at the Kuni. He turns to the Unicorn and likewise sputters. "I... we've... it was just because... she looked cold." When the second unexpected pink-haired girl arrives, his brain's speech centers shut down entirely. He wonders, weren't there supposed to be other guys here too? Kobushi? Koshiro? There was also a third one whose name escaped him for a moment until he realized it was him.
