Giving a sigh of relief Akane simply lifted Ryoko up and set her on the stage, on her feet, despite the height.

"My poor Ryoko~" She looked concerned still, even with the woman stood up and helped, "I'm sorry that you're so unlucky! I sometimes feel like I am too... but I don't get hurt, so I guess I'm clumsy yet lucky.." She giggled a little at the idea, and moved up to the stage to squeeze the girl, "Next time, just fall on me! I never get hurt, so bam, if you fall on me, you can't get hurt either. Right?" A wink. She was flirting. Right in the middle of class.

Ryoko looked up to Akane as she got to her feet, looking alright if a bit embarrassed. " Fall down seven times, stand up eight?" Once she made sure she was alright the little Phoenix looked away from everyone, offering sheepishly. "What if I said this is normal for me? That I've been like this all my life? That I've had more falls, cuts, bruises, and broken bones than most people have in their entire lifetimes? Would you say I'm cursed by the Fortunes? Or would you say I'm simply unlucky and clumsy?" She smiled a little, then bowed to both Akane and Mako. "Thank you both for checking on me. I'm fine, really." "Wait...what happens if you fall down eight times, then?" Rodrigo shrugged, not thinking too hard on the question, then whirled a finger around. "If we do a romance, I call the kissing scene!" |

Akane was still holding up Ryoko on the edge of the stage when Mako came over to squeeze her. She realized that, from this angle she could see up Mako's skirt.

Mako was still hugging Ryoko, when she turned to point at Rodrigo, "No, no no! I am clearly the best kisser." She shot her challenge, and then started to laugh, into Ryoko, using the woman to mute herself from her joke, face pressed into the woman's shrine maiden outfit without shame.
She doesn't even notice how her butt was easily noticed by anyone standing near the stage's edge like this!

Rodrigo looked up and admired the show, putting a hand to his chin and nodding.
"Well, you certainly have the assets to be a romantic lead. Maybe we can share a kissing scene?"
He waggled an eyebrow.

Sakura just witnesses all of this a bit awkwardly. She had come to this class, hoping for more traditional theater. But it seems they are set on performing musicals. She enjoys a great deal of theater, but she always hated performing in musicals, because she had trouble carrying a tune.

Musicals? Next you'll tell me they want to put on a puppet show or some variety act like MappettoshÅ or Doji Edosariban.
The Dragon could hear the groan in the voice of the spirit haunting her. Tell them this isn't proper theater and that it would be a disgrace to some of this school's greatest performers, such as myself or... She paused a moment, eyes becoming a schoolgirl sigh -- the kind that indicates a clear crush on someone -- escapes Sakura's lips. But puppet theater has a fine and long tradition in Rokugan. In fact, part of the traditional image of the shinobi, the black clad variety, can be traced back to puppet theater. Um...but I do agree about the musicals not being all that grand of idea.
So she speaks up, "Gomen, but while I understand the appeal of musical theatre, I should note that not everyone here has the background or ability suited to such an endeavor. A more traditional show might be a more accessible objective."

Rodrigo's question is the first one Ryoko answered with a very cryptic, "Stand up nine?" Then Mako presses herself into Ryoko's outfit and the little Phoenix looks down at the Otomo only to blush and look away quickly. It was obvious there was flirting going on and while maybe Ryoko didn't mind too much, it was the public nature of it all that set her off-guard.
"N-nani? O..okay, Mako-san."
Finally she glances to Akane-sensei after the strong Spider woman had lifted the Phoenix girl up onto the stage like she were a doll, the little shrine maiden nods, "If the path before me is my way, shouldn't I take great caution in practicing it, sensei?"
