She closes her eyes, and brings her forward, pulling on that bond and those memories. She does not often do it this way around. It is too painful for her, not physically, but to remember what she had lost, to deal with the gnawing pain of her demands

Fuyu sighs gently. "All can be saved. Gaki-do is not a permanent fate. Perhaps it is in you she will find redemption. When you can live your life as honorably as you can, you can guide both of you to salvation. And I will ensure I am there to help you."

Fuyu winces slightly at those words she lunges forward to hold her close. "We are not weapons. We are people. I am a person. I spent so long feeling like a sword, believing I was a living weapon. Even when ...when there was a girl who was actually a sword who was more human then me. I won't let you do the same. I won't allow it."

Fuyu shakes her head. "Damaged at worst. Like I was at your age. But you can be fixed. When I was your age, I saw myself as a weapon. It was hard to remember that I was in my own body."
