Apparently, when students go full contact without it, it increases the chances of a situation where a serious duel is going to occur. Which is why I err on the side of caution, to try and ensure that this school doesn't become an extension of the various disagreements and feuds that are always happening between the clans," Aiko replies, showing she understands where Noboru is coming from, but is also explaining where she is coming from to make it clear she isn't just being an arbitrary ass about the equipment.

Priya stands, in the correct gear, ready and waiting for the lesson. This is far from her first time training today, but she is as eager and vital as she was earlier.

Aiko sighs at Priya's comment, but honestly not the least bit surprised. She made a note to point out to Priya later about the proper time and place to flirt with someone. And also, how it is generally unwise to flirt with someone's daughter in front of them.
