Koko wasn't very animated to go to classes so she decided to ask Kiki to help her find the fame kodama from spirits class. Kiki now a fox with 3 tails. She smiled to her sister and wondered which tree could this spirit be possessing. They might be protecting this forest and might be emerging to fend off those who might be trying to cut the trees.

The twins would hear the rustling of the underbrush nearby, followed by a figure stepping out from behind the trees. Utaku Genji's attention is toward the ground as he seems to be looking for something, currently unaware of the two Phoenix girls looking for kodama.

Genji looked up as he heard Koko speaking to him. The Utaku smiled before bowing to the Phoenix girl, "Oh, Isawa-sans. I hope Inari has blessed you today. And I'm quite alright. Umeko-sensei pointed out a few herbs that might help with one of the horses giving birth and thought she remembered seeing some in the woods."
He paused, "Wait... why aren't you two in class?"

"I am searching for a Kodama... Seppun sensei said there was one here in the forest well... I decided to see if I could find it as independent studies of the class." Kiki fox form went to Genji and poked his leg with her nose.

Genji's player clearly hadn't realized Kiki was in a fox form and must have been seeing double briefly. He reaches down to pet the little fox that noses at him, realizing quickly that it's not Fenne, "Isawa-san, where is your sister? And Kodama?"
He grinned a little, "I don't know if there's any in the forest, but Umeko-sensei and I saw some on the school grounds a few nights ago after we finished preparing the sakura for the first day of school."

Koko looked at the fox nuzzling the sensei. "You are petting her." The Isawa giggled."I communed with the kami and well there are spirits of Chikushudo sleeping. I still wonder why then there are no kodama in the woods."

Genji blinked at the revelation he was petting Kiki but kept scritching the little fox gently.
"I'm sure there are, Isawa-san, though Umeko-sensei would know much better about these things than I would, being the school gardener. And if there really aren't, she can talk about that as well. Though if I had to guess, these may be younger trees and some of the older trees could be suffering from the Onyx War or sad that some of their brothers and sisters were cut down to make room for the school."
He shrugged a little, "I'm no priest, so I can only guess based on what little I do know." Then curious, "What prompted this?"

"The kodama or the spirits of chikushudo?" The girl was a bit puzzled. "Oh sensei Kiki can help you find the herb. She knows a bit of medicine and she can hunt pretty well."
