There was the sound of a second voice coming over the line, muffled, but clearly her mother had returned from her split second melt down. Hinata's father could be heard saying he was getting to that. Suddenly, Haroru was speaking to her again.
"No, it's a good call, and we'll support it for sure. Just be careful sweetie. The courts are a tiresome and pointless tirade of steps that get in the way of progress. You'll have to step into that dreadful realm if you wish to marry him! Just keep us in the loop this time."

She paused, realizing she had not talked to her little brother ever since she got here. She had said to Yoshinobu she would, but then she forgot.
"How is Haru doing, by the way? Is he alright without me there?"

"It'll happen. I learned when trying to marry your mom, but that's not even going to be as hard of a battle as it is to keep the prince at your side," He said matter of fact like.
The sound of the phone moving came next and the voices switched. It was her mom. "You best make sure you hit every single one of those other suitors away! Let nothing come between you to! Give them the old Kuni handshake if you have to!"

"I do not plan on letting anyone else get ahead of me. Though I think giving them the Kuni handshake would have the opposite of the desired effect."

Her mom likely knew this, but her fervor for the union was clearly outweighing any logic. "It doesn't matter! No one will approach if you smack them hard enough!"

Her mom became quiet, muttering under her breath, which sounded a bit like something about how stupid other lands are, why Crab get things done, and being under appreciated. The phone shortly changed voices after that, her dad once more at the helm of the proverbial ship.
"Welp, she's flustered again. Gotta say though, her passion is what got me, so a word of advice to you, don't forget to have passion in that relationship of yours."
