After her class Fuyuko is looking through some of her books, texts on the law and inheritance and other such matters to try to figure out what it will take for her to be able to adopt her new daughter. As she works in her silent room she thinks upon the events of the day so far and what she suspects will happen later, all of it bringing a small smile to her usually emotionless face. Ryudo Akane |

There's a knock on the door to her office, and the door opens a crack, "Are you busy, Doji-sama?"
The voice is recognizable as Ryudo Akane's.

Fuyu looks up and blinks at the door a moment before she calls out. "I am not. Please do step in Akane-san. Step in." she says in her soft little voice.

Akane does so, closing the door behind her; She is still wearing her grey suitcoat and dress, giving Fuyuko a small smile before looking around for a chair to sit in.

Fuyu gestures to the one in the seat in front of her before standing to pull it out for Akane and walking back to sit down, blinking at the woman owlishly for a few seconds before she cocks her head. "Akane-san. How may we help you today."

Akane was not much for beating around the bush on things, "Well, I was asked to come here and have a talk with you, yah know? About Kuneho-chan."
She sat in the chair less casually than normal for her, sitting forwards a bit with her hands on her knees.

Fuyuko raises a brow. "I did speak to her, she is doing well. I will be able to make up my faults to her by looking after her son." she says softly before she raises her brow. "What matter were you asked to speak on?"

"You did?! I... Um... Well, I mean, it's good to hear she's doing well. And I dunno about your faults... but anyways, I was asked to speak about my relationship with her. Kuneho-chan that is. I mean, I had a crush on her back in school. I had a crush on a couple girls of course, but she's one of the ones I acted on; Told her about my feelings when I was a third year."

Fuyuko gives a small nod. "Oh, I do not remember where we were year wise. Still if you picked up the pieces after I left, I owe you a debt of gratitude. I worried that my betrothal hurt her. I did not wish to hurt her but duty called to me."

Akane shook her head, "Naw, this was while you and her were still a thing. She informed me of such at the time. Anyways, she said she wanted me to be happy, but that she couldn't go out with me cause of you. We did kind of sleep together though, something about trying to get each other of the other's minds. I dunno if that worked or not, but we didn't do anything else together after that, for that reason or others."
Well, it was all the truth, best as she could remember.
