Ichiro leads Tsubasa to the dojo and slides open the door to one of the rooms it was empty as he had suspected it would be he performed the respectful rites of entering a dojo. "Do you know the ritual of entering a dojo to show respect to it?" He asked casually.

Tsubasa shook her head, pausing at the threshold for the moment. "Actually no I don't. Please teach me Ichiro-san"

Ichiro smiles "sure thing" he goes through it again slower so that Tsubasa can mimic him bowing to the appropriate places and such. "Its not so difficult to do but it's always important to show respect a dojo especially one as important as this."
With that done Ichiro placed his daisho on a rack and grabbed a couple of bokken. He handed one to Tsubasa "now let's see what you got just try to hit me get a feel for what it is to land a strike."
((Ooc his tn is usually 20 but he isn't trying to block or dodge so let's call it 5."

Tsubasa mimicked Ichiros movements, showing proper respect for the Dojo before taking the bokken from his hand. She hefts the wooden sword in her hand a few times, testing it. "Ohh, this is like a baton" She swings then, trying not to do it too hard to avoid actually hurting her friend and still winces when it connects with the Lions head. Having never done this before she's not sure if she's actually hurt him or not, swiftly pulling the bokken back to make sure he was okay. "I hope your brain is okay, I don't wanna scramble it too hard" Strike: 16 Damage: 10 |

She had struck him surprisingly hard he was a little dazed but chuckled. "I'm fine I'm fine. How did that feel?"

"That was fun! Though I think if I do it again I might really hurt you. Do you have training dummies? Something I can whack a lot without worrying"

Ichiro laughed "you read my mind, I may have underestimated you Tsubasa-san." He leads her over to the training dummies. "Here why not give this a few strikes, I'll watch your form and give you notes."

Tsubasa didn't really have a form but she was really quite agile and she'd watched a lot of samurai movies. She does her absolute best to imitate the men from the old TV dramas. She even lets out a few battle cries as she rains bokken strikes down upon the dummy, even trying to vary it up by hitting down below and in the middle.
"HIYAH, KIYAH, HAH!"

Ichiro watched with a smile maybe evaluating parts of her more closely than strictly necesarry but he was here to teach and took that seriously. He stopped Tsubasa and gave her pointers here and there about body positioning and using legs and such.
At one point Ichiro with out thinking reaches out and grips Tsubasa's hips and moves them into proper place and then same with he shoulders and arms. He grabs her wrists and with his body against hers goes through the motion of a strike. Suddenly he notes their proximity and a touch of color reaches his cheeks and he steps back "you get the idea." He mumbles quickly.

Tsubasa eagerly takes in Ichiro's advice and lessons, adjusting her stance and switching up her movements to more closely mimic his. When he presses in to show her physically she goes along with it just as easily, quite used to this style of teaching from being on the road and doing choreography.
"So Ichiro-san, can you do that thing when I swing downwards and you go HIYAH and then you stop my blade by sandwiching it between the palms of your hands? That would be so cool to do or see"
