"Scorpion and Dragon. One on each arm?" he asks before taking a look at the pieces for the arm. Already, he's trying to figure out sizes and inks. "Sounds easy enough."

Kobushi continues working. This time, as he sets down the head, he begins a thin coat of paint on the arms. It's a primer, so the later colors can seep in properly and let the tattoos be clearly visible on the surface of the material.

Kiki nodded and measured the head. She went to look for some materials in her bag. She started to design a hat to go with the dress.

Kobushi smiles and goes back to work. As he does, starting to ink the scorpion's tail and sting, he has an idea. Ryuha was a warrior, and took pride in that. It would be a shame for the doll not to reflect that somehow.
"Should we get a daisho for the doll?" he asks. "She is a bushi, after all. She might appreciate that."

Kiki was singleminded and work seemed to make her phase out the world around her. She hasn't noticed that Kobushi was addressing her. She wouldn't hear a thing.

Kobushi shrugs, deciding to go back to his work. He takes out a smaller brush, going into the detail of the scorpion's legs. He didn't have a lot of space to work with and still make it a reasonable tattoo, but he kind of enjoyed the challenge. He just needed to be careful with this work.
