For his part, Yoshinobu had a lot of fun taking different pictures in various poses with Hinata as well. With the zeni he had fed the machine, they were able to get plenty of sets of them printed out. The Prince found one set in particular that he rather enjoyed and decided to keep. "This sure beats us getting our picture taken while caught unawares in a tabloid magazine, right?" he says with a smile, showing her the one he favored. They both looked pretty happy in it, so it felt like a keeper to him.  |

Hinata looked at the picture and grinned.
"Yes, yes it does. I don't know what I'm gonna do with so many of these though."
She chuckled, and kissed him briefly.
"...we do look good together though, don't we?"

"Maybe give some to your parents if you think they'd like them? I want to send some to my sister. You never know," Yoshinobu suggests with a nervous laugh, chuckling as she kisses him. They probably have around 50 print outs, of various selections and poses.
"I wanna pin that one up in my room, for sure. And it is because I think we look perfect together, actually."

"Well, you've got a good eye, then."
She grinned and nuzzled her head against him, looking at the pictures.
"Oh well, I can't complain about too many pictures. Wanna know why?"

Hinata managed to keep a straight face for all of two seconds before cracking up.

Yoshinobu laughed aloud, unable to keep his composure as well when he saw Hinata begin to laugh.
"You're right. That was totally cheesy, Hinata-chan." He gave her a kiss on top of her head, keeping his arm around her shoulder. "Come on, let's go. The palace awaits."

Hinata grinned and nodded.
"Right, let's go. I can't wait to see it."
She stood up and took a deep breath, composing herself for what would likely happen there.

Yoshinobu nodded and led Hinata back to his moped, ignorant of course to any of Hinata's thoughts or nervousness. He passed her her helmet, then took his seat and sat on the moped. To be honest, he was a bit nervous too. For a variety of reasons. Without saying anything else, he begins the drive to the palace. Even in the distance on a dark, cloudy night like this one, the looming figure of the ancient castle that was the Imperial palace was visible. As the moped circled the perimeter of the palace from behind, Yoshinobu waved at a few of the Seppun on patrol.
Eventually they came to the main gate, where the two were stopped by a few more miharu. Yoshinobu lifted his visor and spoke to them in a friendly tone - the Seppun were polite and waved him in after making sure he was actually the Prince. They said nothing about Hinata, politely ignoring the fact he had a young woman with him and was bringing her into the palace. The inner walls gave way to a maze of beautiful spring gardens within, unlike any other in the city. At this time of year and this time of night, they were barren. There were few visitors with the Emperor away and right after the Winter Court season.
After another minute they passed through another inner wall, into the palace area proper. Yoshinobu steered the moped over to a side building, large but not the palace, its architecture smaller but just as traditional. Ten meters or so away from it was a shed with some tools and the like. The Prince pulled up under it and parked the moped there, switching the engine off. Under the shed along with the tools were a small bowl, likely for an animal, and some riding gear.
"Whew. Here we are, finally."

Hinata marveled at her surroundings as they drove through the palace grounds, her breath taken away by how beautiful it was. She knew the imperial palace must be gorgeous, but this exceeded all her expectations. This palace was thousands of years old, and yet it still looked beautiful enough that she could not believe it. The few signs of wear on the stone underfoot and on the walls only served to make it more impressive. It was far more grand than any building she had seen in her life.
"Wow..." she said as they made their way through the grounds, her voice an awestruck whisper.
Once they pulled into the shed, Hinata hopped off the moped and took her helmet off, her wonderment still clear on her face.
"I knew the palace would be impressive, but this is...wow."
She chuckled, grinning, then looked at the bowl.
"I didn't know you had a pet."
