Aiko stands in one of the smaller dojo spaces, readying herself to teach the most basic aspects of kenjutsu to any interested students. After all, putting advanced students next to the ones who are only beginning to learn how to properly draw and hold a sword would be rather cruel.

An annoyed looking Mochihime steps inside the dojo, wearing a brand-new, never-used hakama. This year's schedule sucks! No decent, shugenja-friendly classes a tall in the first slot! Just iai-do and kenjitsu!
Of the two kenjitsu was the marginal winner. Who knows, might help her Build Fighter games and engineering to know the actual physics behind swinging a sword...

Aiko bows to the young woman as she arrives, waiting to see if any other students might arrive.

Asurito had promised to her mother that she would take poetry classes this year, but instead she find herself in the dojo. Here she can breath more freely.
The Miya bows upon her entrance and heads towards the spot where the class is to be held. Another bow to the sensei and a third one to her fellow Imperial.

Aiko returns the bow, "I take it you two are the only beginning swordsmanship students at this juncture, so, I suppose it would be best to get started. First things first, I am Mirumoto Aiko, kenjutsu and investigation sensei, student of Niten and Kitsuki's Method. It is my solemn duty today to teach you two about the basics of the sword. To start with, you two are going to need to put on the bogu, as I don't want to have to send students to the nurse's office on the first day, as with inexperienced fighters, accidents are more likely to happen. This is fine, so long as we learn from our mistakes. I am not going to expect instant mastery, rather, we are going to start with the basics and work our way up. Do either of you have any background with the blade?"

"Hey, hang on!" comes a cry from the entrance to the dojo. A young Akodo in the school's approved dojo wear (brand new, so probably a first year) hurries towards them. "Sorry I'm late, Mirumoto-sensei!" she says as she approaches. "I couldn't find the dojo entrance."
She bows to everyone, letting the others reply to the sensei before she herself does.

Aiko sighs inwardly, dreading what a poor sense of direction might mean for someone wielding a sword. She doesn't say anything about this however, and instead smiles pleasantly at the late arrival.
"It is alright. I was just telling the other girls here to put on the bogu so we can get started with the basics if Kenjutsu."

The Miya waves enthusiastically to her little friend, but cannot avoid thinking how dangerous this class might end up to be for everyone now.
"No former experience, Mirumoto sensei. Just some jiujitsu for me until now." She informs Aiko and gets he equipment on.

Uuen-Xiang hurries into the equipment as well, looking at the Dragon. "I have none either, sensei... My father thought me not... Agile enough for kendo," she admits.

Aiko looks at Uuen-Xiang, "...That sounds like there is a story there."
