The classroom is rather simply decorated with a small shrine in the corner as well as a desk covered with small little morbid artworks. All in all though the room seems fairly sparse. On the board is written out
Doji Fuyuko is sitting at her desk reading a book of poetry, a set of headphones on her head and wearing a beautiful powder blue Gothic Lolita dress with an eye-patch and she is looking to be in as good spirits as anyone has seen her. As the first student enters she removes her headphones, blinking owlishly at the first student to grace her classroom.

That first student is Tamori Yoshi, who bows deeply to the sensei before finding a desk somewhere in the middle of the room. He fidgets nervously, not knowing what to say to the woman, though he had "met" her briefly and barely the previous morning. So, he resolves to begin reading the provided textbook, but he starts feeling overwhelmed by legalese after only the first few pages.

Rodrigo whistled as he swaggered into the classroom, hands in his pockets. He looked at the board, squinting. Even with the course he had taken, he still had some difficulty reading Rokugani. It was just so different from Merenese. After a few moments though, he smiled and nodded to himself. Rokugani Law, this was it.
He looked at the small woman in the front of the class. Was she a student? No, her posture was too rigid for that, she must be the teacher. He quirked his head, trying to get a look at her mon. Crane clan, it looked like. Hopefully she would not be too offended if he was wrong.
He bowed to her, a flamboyant gesture quite unlike a Rokugani bow. No, a Rokugani bow did not use the arms nearly so much.
"Ah, hello Crane-se--"
He fumbled with the honorific. What was it again? Se something...
"Se...se...sensei! That is it, yes. Apologies. I am Rodrigo Azerolas, it is a pleasure to meet you!"

Fuyuko gives a small bow to the Tamori as he enters then she gives a simple Rokugani bow to the strange student. "Ah Rodrigo-san" she says remembering the naming conventions she learned from Tarik. They should all work the same right? "This one is Doji-Fuyuko. You may call her Doji-Sensei. She will be your law teacher."

"Ah, excellent, Doji-sensei! I am honored to be your student. I figure if I am going to be in your country I should brush up on the laws, yes?"
He chuckled at his own joke, and then took a seat in the middle row.

Tarik in a far better shape than the previous day showed up early. He had left Aziz outside per school policy. He was surprised that there was another gaijin in class, but stalled talking to him until he had greeted Fuyu.
"Peace and prosperity, Fuyuko-sensei. Always a pleasure to see you." He greeted her with a low bow. His Rokugani were well trained and his accent shouldn't be perceived by anyone. His tutors over the years had done a good job.
Once he was finished with exchanging pleasantries with the Crane he took a seat near the Merenese and extended a hand to him.
"Peace and prosperity, I am Tarik al-Menjari and I am pleased to meet another not native of Rokugan, studying here."

Another non-native? Well this was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. Rodrigo shook Tarik's hand.
"Ah, good to meet you, Tarik! Medinat, I am guessing? I am Rodrigo Azerola."
Unlike Tarik, Rodrigo's own Rokuganki had the heavy accent of someone who had just recently learned to speak the language. He also did not bother with an honorific, this guy was another foreigner and he hoped he could talk normally with him. Unless Medinat had honorifics? Now he wasn't sure.
"I must say, I am pleased as well. What brings you to study here?"

Yoshi observes the other two students silently, noting that this is quite a change from his two classes yesterday, especially contrasting it two his first in which he was the only boy. Now there were nothing but boys, and he was the only native Rokugani thus far. He supposes that at least then, this class had in common with the other the fact he was completely out of his depth with people he was too afraid to talk to. That was a running them in his life overall, in fact.

He sat next to him. "Higher learning of course." He whispered to him clearly joking. "Oh... uh... hello," Yoshi says, surprised out of his thoughts by being addressed. He bows to each as he mangles the pronunciation of their names, "Tarik-al-Menjari-san and Rodrigo-san. I hope... you've eaten as well. I'm Tamori Yoshi... First Year." He noted that the one who spoke to him also seemed to be more familiar with the sensei, to whom he furtively looked for help just in case this meeting with the two young men took a turn for the worse.
