Jio grunted, arms crossed over his barrel like chest, "As if. Believe it or not Tamori-sama, I was a teenager too once. And I know a lot of lads would have done a lot more than you with someone as trusting and naive as her. Wish I coulda done better by her really so she was better equipped to deal with these things... but that's thinking about the past."
He unfolded his arms and patted Yoshi on the shoulder firmly, "I still trust yah not to go faster than she can learn. Woulda still thought that if yah'd stayed and saw something."

Yoshi shudders to think of someone taking advantage of Momiko, remembering the way she'd casually brought condoms to the movie when they weren't even dating. He also sighs, as the ever-present need he has to protect her is also at the root of why he can't resolve his feelings for her properly. He wonders despairingly if he's truly falling in love, or if it's just lust mixed with comfort in her naivite and responsibility for the same. He offers a silent prayer to Benten that their next date will bring them both greater clarity.
"I did... see something... accidentally," he admits quietly, not wanting to be dishonest after of Jio's reassurances. "Two somethings." The sight of Momiko's nipples was as seared into his memory now as the feeling on his lips of the soft flesh that surrounded them. The thought of someday combining the two experiences, revealing them again on purpose and using his mouth as he'd done before, is driving him to severe distraction.

"Did you then? No need to act like a monk about it, Tamori-sama. Why, back in my day we still had mixed bathing houses in town, and I hardly turned out a bad person for that. Besides, it's the spirit of the thing; You saying you're sorry just goes to show you're a real samurai about it, and it was what it was, no more. Though a real samurai wouldn't even need to apologize about it."
Jio pauses, then finally looks at Yoshi, "Unless I'm misreading things here."

"I just... don't want anyone to feel like I violated their trust," he says quietly, hoping that stands as clarification enough. He glances at the car pointedly, for there was someone other than Jio whose trust was even important to him. Although, it should be noted, this look to make a point wasn't long or direct enough to actually see in the window.

Windows were mirrored anyways, so it would have been a moot point.
Jio nodded, "I getcha. Just saying I don't think you need to worry about it too much. You don't feel like your heart is in the wrong place, do you?"

So, with the windows mirrored, it seemed Jio standing in front of it while Momiko changed was more symbolic than anything. That was certainly interesting to realize. Yoshi also relaxes as the ronin tells him to not worry, but his final question leaves the young Dragon thoughtful.
"No," he answers, "but I do wish I knew better where exactly my heart is at... and, more importantly, where it's headed."

"Well I think you have a good heart. So just try to keep it separate from your libido, and I suspect you'll do fine."
As he talked, Jio got out a folded up wallet, opening up the old thing to look for something, "Here, just a sec, I have something for you."

Yoshi opens his mouth, about to protest to Jio that he needn't bother because Momiko has plenty of condoms. However, he thinks better of it and accepts the ronin's advice and compliments with a grateful nod before waiting to see what else he had to offer.

Jio fishes out a small white square which looks like an old style Polaroid picture from the back, "Here; Maybe it'll remind you of things when the going gets tough. And let you do things on your own." He gave a small cough and looked up and away as he put the photo in Yoshi's hand, "Just something from last summer's vacation really. I know there are other copies in the scrap book, but I'd kept one for myself." |

"Oh, I... oh my," Yoshi says, blushing as he quickly places the photo safely inside his jacket. He understands every implication from the ronin's words to him, but any further ones from the fact he possessed that 'for himself' perhaps bore a little further investigating to put Yoshi's mind at ease.
"The... um... family resemblence is more... striking in this... than I observed at dinner," he notes. "You are... as fortunate to have the... employer you do... as I am to have Momiko." There was sort of an implied question in this statement, as Yoshi remembered how the ronin had smelled of Mei's perfume when he'd driven them here two nights before. He was also looking for a little reassurance that, if Jio had it for the same reason he was giving it to Yoshi, his interest was solely in the eldest subject.
