"Not... just the helmet," Yoshi says coyly. As they walk past Jio toward the dorm, Yoshi gives the ronin a parting smile and nod of gratitude. After they're past the car, he leans in and whispers, "I... also caught a glimpse of your underwear... both now and when you were getting in the car after the movie." He recalls from his training as a Kitsuki to only put forth theories, like guessing her favorite color, with sufficient supporting facts. This helps somewhat in providing a counterbalance to his thoughts about Momiko's underwear directly, keeping in check his libido as Jio had warned. Thinking of the old ronin helped in this way also.

She seems to chew that information over in her head a moment, "There's nothing wrong with yellow underwear I hope."

"Nothing at all," he reassures her. "I'm... glad you're not embarrassed that I saw." After what he'd done and seen in the car, it stood to reason that him getting an accidental panty-flash wouldn't be all that scandalous to Momiko anymore. This in turn gives him a bit of hope that she might be warming to the idea of showing him more, though he also realizes how selfish and one-sided that hope could be.
"You know...," he says, whispering again, though they were well out of Jio's potential earshot, "if you ever want to see... more of my body... like I wanted to see more of yours tonight... I... wouldn't be opposed to that. Just... so you know; I'm not one to ask to get something that I'm not also willing to give." Even in the cool night air, his face feels hot after making her this offer.

Momiko half pounces him with a hug of sorts from the side, "I think I would enjoy that. As long as you're willing."
She gave him a smile and half rested her head on his shoulder as they stepped up onto the sidewalk.

Yoshi is a little startled by Momiko's sudden burst of enthusiasm, but it also makes his pride swell, along with other things.
"I'm willing," he reiterates with soft sincerity, pulse quickening yet again. Not wanting this rare moment of decisive and romantic boldness on Momiko's part to pass, nor give her any reason to doubt him, he continues in a whisper, "I can do it right now... tonight. It's so late... no one would notice if I went into the building with you... or into your room." He was as nervous as he was excited, but he wanted to prove that he was ready to take this step, as well as feeling that he owed her somewhat for what she had given him in the car, both intentionally and unintentionally.

She seems to think, but shakes her head, "That seems risky. Which I am sure is ironic, coming from me. But I want to get to these things naturally, on our own time."
Momiko hopes the answer is okay, but it seems right to her.

"No, that's fine," Yoshi says, nodding in understanding. He leans his head against hers as they walk up to the building arm-in-arm. "What makes me even happier, than being able to do that for you now, is that you're starting to think of things in terms of what you want." As slow as they might have been walking, to let the moment linger, it wasn't all that far from the parking lot to the building.
"I know I want to see you again soon," he tells her as they reach the door, pining for her already even though they haven't yet parted. "Do you think... maybe you could show me that Comic Shop you told me about earlier tonight? Would that be a fun next date?"

She barely even hears the latter part, and it takes a second for Yoshi's arm to catch on hers as Momiko comes to a stop, "...you're right. I... I thought of that only mostly considering what you would want and thought about what seemed best without even trying. That feels kind of... hm."
She'd wanted to say 'nice', but it also felt kind of weird. A twinge of guilt even flowed through her thoughts.

"It's great is what it is, Momiko-chan," Yoshi says, filling in the blank on her behalf and hoping that it matched her feelings accurately. "Now that you know it's possible, I'm sure it will only get easier. Between now and our next date, you should find some time to just let yourself think like that, about what you want in our relationship." She can see both pride and encouragement in his eyes as he turns to look at her.

She gives him a warm smile in return, "And I'm glad you think that. It just feels a bit selfish of me. But seeing you so happy.... maybe finding the right balance will come with time too."
