Momiko just sat on her rock blushing, fiddling with a pencil.
Well, it wasn't HER rock, per say. It was just the one she was sitting on.
It was comfortable and warm from the sun.
She wondered how much it cost.

"Good. Now, today, we are going to study one of the more general applications of investigative techniques, which for bushi and the like, is how to avoid walking into ambushes. Before we get on to the practical aspects, I am going to go over the basics, which is what to look out for depending on environment," Aiko says, before taking out a sheaf of handouts and handing them to the students. They contain images that can show signs of nearby ambushes highlighted.

Nade slipped close to Momiko and her very lovely rock, Nade wanted the rock now but she was too nice to take it.
So she simply stood next to her friend and listend to Aiko go over the handout, nodding along and making little notes on it to ensure she got everything down right.

For some reason Momiko immediately gave up the rock for the younger woman when she got closer, silently motioning for her to sit. As she listened to Aiko talk, she raised her hand after a few points about spotting things.

As Aiko outlines the objectives of the lesson, by going over the handouts and explaining more details about how to avoid walking into an ambush, she also outlines some tips on how to avoid walking into an ambush in a modern urban setting as well, aware that not every student will be going through the woods when suddenly, ninja or bandits or angry Lions. And then she prepares them for the practical part of the lesson.
"Alright, students. Now, for the practical part. There is a point in the woods you are going to try to make it towards, avoiding ambushes. If you get caught in an ambush, you will be out. It will not count as a failure, as trust me, the people I have asked to help me with the ambushes are sneaky and underhanded as can be, mostly because they want to ensure the lessons are as effective as possible. Instead, you will be graded on how many ambushes you avoid and whether or not you make it to the point. You will be going one at a time, so...who wants to go first?"
((And how we are doing this is a series of five Investigation (Search)/Perception checks. If you have Wary, it will apply. First TN is going to be a 10, and increase by 5 for each test beyond the first. If you make it to the fifth check, you are scott free. Otherwise, you are eliminated at the first failed check by ambush.))

Momiko raises a hand... and is quickly ambushed, letting out a squeak of surprise; She's used to being able to use her super hearing to hear people, but she's also not really used to people actually TRYING to hide from her like this. |

Nadeshiko waited for Momiko to come back, rather quickly. A soft pout escaped her lips as she gave her friend a light hug before she disappeared into woods. She didn't return shortly... or even after a few minutes. In fact the young Unicorn managed to use all her skills and abilities to make it to the end point without getting found by the searchers. |
