"A cacophony? I'd hardly call it that, it's got a rhythm to it. I like it, though; keep it on."

"It's alright, sensei."
Simple and truthful. And not likely to antagonize her.

"I like it." Hesaid aa his body stared to bob and move to the beat.

Fuyu nods, walking over to grab her own practice blade, bowing to the banners before she walks to the center. "We are going to run through several common stances. And several common strikes today. Get the physical movement of the art ready."

Kobushi takes in a long breath, steels himself. He did passably in the iaido trials, despite knowing nothing. He would put aside his dread of the sensei to learn iai. Besides, he figures going through stances and strikes would take his mind off all the other things running around in his head.

Kaizen was feeling loosened up by the music. He begun to center himself, but his stance was not like how it was when he would concentrate and knowingly go through the Iaido motions. His bokken was in one hand, but it was resting on his shoulder. He swayed back and forth to the rhythm of the song. But other then that, he seemed ready.

Rodrigo nodded, and began practicing his stance. For a complete beginner, he seemed pretty good, though his posture and grip could certainly use work. Well, that, and he seemed to have trouble concentrating; every little detail in the room kept distracting his poor ADD brain.

Fuyu walks among them, taking her parasol. She gives Rodrigo a small WHAP on the hand with the umbrella, more noise then pain. "Fix Your Grip. Focus." She continues as she demonstrates a simple Seppun Setup and Strike, a very basic Iaido move based off the Crane but adapted for those who did not follow Kakita's path. "Follow, then replicate. Understood?"

Kobushi doesn't even flinch at the sound. He'd seen worse done by Crab sensei.
Still, he quietly observes the motions. He would replicate them as best he could. He gets a few details wrong, no doubt, but the Daidoji gets the general gist of the motions. Fear is an excellent motivator.

Once Kaizen was in full groove of the song, he lowered his bokken to the proper spot where she taught him. and went through the motions slowly at first. He listened for the beat and timed his strikes to the hit of the crash cymbal. He begun to anticipate when that sound would come. He tuned everything else out, to where it was just him, his bokken, and the music.
